During our degree apprenticeship programmes, developers have the chance to work in many disciplines within the web technology industry. The course lasts for a total of four years, allowing developers to mature into the role alongside a dedicated study programme. Towards the end of the summer, Niall and Jamie completed their degree apprenticeships at The Open University. They were the first of our apprentices to complete the degree apprenticeship, and they're both now in a position to nurture the next generation through their programmes. They have both very kindly shared their experiences below! "I'm thrilled to have completed my university degree alongside my Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Apprenticeship! The apprenticeship has been a game-changer, giving me hands-on experience and invaluable insights into the tech industry. I’m grateful for the knowledge I've gained, the support from my mentors, and the relationships I've built along the way. I’m excited to take this next step in my career, equipped with new skills and experiences that I have gained along this journey." - Niall, mid-level developer "The apprenticeship offered an excellent opening for me when I was unsure which direction to take out of A-levels, providing me with a plethora of knowledge and learning experiences both through university and on the job work. It's given me the skills I need to pursue a career in this field and I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity." - Jamie, mid-level developer Read our latest blog on apprenticeships here: https://lnkd.in/ehwiVnFb #degreeapprenticeship #webtechnology
