Problem Solvers vs. Problem Managers: A Transformational Leadership Perspective There's a distinct difference between problem solvers and problem managers. Problem solvers confront issues head-on, enduring the associated pains and consequences, while problem managers merely navigate around problems without resolving them. From day one, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took the bold step of confronting Nigeria's major economic challenges—removing the fuel subsidy and floating the Naira. While these decisions have undeniably caused economic hardship, particularly for salary earners, Tinubu focused on the long-term vision: making Nigerians more productive and creating a sustainable flow of funds to run the government. This is the ultimate challenge of any transformational leader. They often sacrifice their personal reputation by taking tough decisions for the greater good. Tinubu, like all leaders aiming for genuine transformation, must secure the cooperation and understanding of all Nigerians, particularly the youth, to succeed in addressing these deep-rooted problems. Let’s work together, trust the process, and support the journey to a more prosperous Nigeria. #TransformationalLeadership #ProblemSolvers #EconomicReform #TinubuAdministration #YouthForChange #Nigeria

LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE 🇳🇬✨ Nigeria stands as a nation where the pursuit of leadership is often fueled by noble intentions, yet once attained, individuals can succumb to the seductive allure of power. Regrettably, the essence of servant leadership, rooted in genuine care for the populace, appears to be waning amidst self-serving agendas. The truth will always remain the truth, Nigeria leadership is gradually running out of passion and love for the people. The moment your priority as a leader becomes yourself and your immediate family, both the seat and the accompanied glory seems to be forfeited, although having all the financial resources which was forcefully hijacked from the poor suffering masses. As a leader and a faithful compatriot, do you have a life style that is sincerely worth emulating by your followers? The integrity, humility, and dedication we embody should serve as guiding lights for our followers. Some individuals becomes so overwhelmed by the intoxicating allure of power to the point of wanting to eliminates before getting it. Yet, humility and peaceful strategies, if steadfastly embraced, offer pathways to achieve noble aspirations. I am so confident and comfortably sure that, another breed of leaders with pure intention, accountable and transparent implementation plan are rising in Nigeria and in Africa as a continent. Continued adherence to the status quo threatens to render our abundant resources ineffectual. It is incumbent upon us to throw our support behind individuals of sincerity and competence, transcending barriers of tribe, religion, culture, and gender. In the transformation of Nigeria and Africa, lies our collective destiny. Let us remember that our greatest limitation lies within our mindset, yet it is also within our power to effect transformative change through a renewed perspective. With unwavering determination and a steadfast commitment to progress, we shall indeed witness the dawn of a new era for our beloved nation and continent. ©Abraham Albert Alvans.

So honored to have been commissioned for the Official Headshots of Dr Seun Fakorede, R.Eng, MNSE, MASCE EXECUTIVE ADVISER TO THE GOVERNOR ON YOUTH & SPORTS, OYO STATE, NIGERIA. Over the years, my friend-turned brother has set a pace of excellence and all-round advancement, exemplifying intrinsic leadership values such as kindness, selflessness, vision, tenacity and resilience in achieving set out goals and blazing new trails everyday while at it. I’m equally proud to help create visuals that represent these very same values for which his life and career have stood so far. Creating these was equally seamless and it was easy to capture the actual person because regardless of what a lot of people think about politicians (being double-sided people with divergent personalities) Seun is a thorough exception. What you see is what you get with a lot of added bonus++ He is a leader who is very approachable and likable. Deep-reasoning isn’t far apart from conversations with the Governor’s EA. His vast command of historical and life resources have made him best equipped for current leadership roles but also an excelling candidate for future assignments. These and many more have made working together exceedingly profitable because there is always more to learn working with Dr. Seun Fakorede. He never stops! Trust me I know. Not until a set out goal is achieved. And I am here to document and contribute to all of it. #iconshots #politics #leadership

WE HOLD THE KEY High achievers live by words like those of Malcolm X - words that wipe out disappointment and embolden the heart for future conquest. Words that encourage and motivate as well as give direction. Peak performers have an internal drive for self-discovery. They operate under a sense of urgency and a passion for accomplishment. It means daring to reach, to climb, to crawl, to scratch, to get back up when you've been knocked down, to push forward-ever forward-to forgive. It means sacrificing everything, if necessary, to carve out a place for your own existence. It means Living. By choosing to define life on our own terms, we take the first step toward success. But we must choose. We have forgotten one of the basic tenets of life: We were given dominion over this world. We each plot our own map. It was never the intention of our Creator to chart a course for us. That would place us all under His bondage. Instead, He bestowed on each of us talent and gifts, and the ability to think and envision our own way in any manner that we choose. Begin now to give thanks for those things you do have and don't worry about the things that you don't. No matter what others may say, think, or do, these are not the worst of times. And granted, these may not be the best of times. But one thing is for certain: This is the only time We have! In the long haul, success is far easier than failing. #Unlocking Nigeria's full agricultural potential requires that Nigeria solve the underlying challenges in its agricultural system, which includes the following: Policy Framework, Political Commitment, Agricultural Technology, Infrastructure Deficit, Finance and Risk Management, and Institutional Reform and Realignment. #ProductManager #ProductDive #3MTT Nigeria.

***old post. Monochromatic fit hits.**** So yeah, I attended a conference on Tuesday after 2 years and it was worth it. This time, it was a conference centered on solutions to Nigeria's problem and steps we can use to solve the economy problems. The future CBN manager in 20 to 30 years to come is from our generation. The future president is from our generation too. The future of a lot of companies depends on us. If we give up and choose to live mediocre lives or be complacent about everything or complain about everything, things will be in shambles. Dust your stuff up, begin to make research, educate yourself, go to places that present more opportunities, build your personal leadership. Don't just lazy around. And lastly, do everything with God involved.

🇳🇬One major factor responsible for our multisectorial challenges in Nigeria is Accidental Leadership. An accidental leader is a person who suddenly finds himself in a leadership position without preparation. 🚴♂️Imagine a person finding themselves by 'chance' in Olympics competition without prior preparations. You can guess the outcome. It will be abysmal at the least. 🎭Unfortunately, this is what pervades the Nigeria system. It is more pronounced in the political space; but it happens everywhere. Here, you have an HOD who doesn't understand what leadership is all about but finds himself as HOD. He begins to terrorize everybody. There, you find a Chief Medical Director who has little or no leadership competence. He runs the hospital aground. In some other place, you see a Permanent Secretary in a government ministry who only rose through the ranks without necessarily growing in leadership competence. The ministry remains comatose. 🇳🇬The sad reality is the average Nigerian does not see themselves as potential leaders even though many of us will end up becoming leaders "accidentally". Join our webinar to: - Understand Nigeria's development challenges and opportunities - Learn strategic leadership skills for holistic impact - Develop a personal leadership action plan Together, let's create a brighter future for Nigeria!
