𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐀: Solves a problem, familiar and obvious to a wider audience. Correct execution of this point gives you a PRECIOUS time in your pitch to highlight solutions uniquely. The problem should be narrow enough to understand and empathize with, but wide enough to see the market potential. 2. "𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐀𝐆𝐄" 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎: The idea is validated on the market, the product’s business model and ways to scale are clear, and the core team is established. 3. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆: Great storytelling is engaging and dopamine-boosting: viewers are hooked on key points of the talk, and the overall mood of the presentation is amusement and positive surprise. Whether storytelling should be more calm or dynamic, depends on values behind the idea. The effort spent on doing the homework around addressing most typical questions is highly noticeable and respected. 5. 𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐄: In DDX Conference, there were minor tech complications at the beginning of most pitches. The way how presenter addressed those was incredibly insightful to observe. Someone instantly made a joke, patiently waited for the slides to load, or used the time as a perfect opportunity to give an intro about their product. This experience added spice and flavor to each pitch impression overall. #ddx #conference #startup
