👨🔬 Reporting live from #WCEF2024 ⚗ Thanks Winnie Poncelet from VLAIO promoting #LivingLabs where things can get messy and intuitive actions are jointly taken between a rich variety of stakeholders. Together with Vlaanderen Circulair 29 living labs have been set up in 2 years time, that's pretty impressive. ⛵ 🌊 These living labs are the ideal sailing boats for systemic innovation which is a bit like sailing our oceans: you know where you would like to go but the route is not too predictable and obstacles will be met, while keeping your eye on the horizon. ✨ m-DAC to be Featured at the 2025 Osaka Kansai Expo! ✨ The core technology of Carbon Xtract, membrane-based DAC, was invented by Professor Fujikawa from Kyushu University. Professor Fujikawa, who is also our CTO, is collaborating with various universities and research institutions to advance NEDO Moonshot Research and Development Program. This time, happily it was announced that Professor Fujikawa’s research team will conduct a demonstration test and exhibition at the Osaka Kansai Expo👏 Also, Carbon Xtract will proudly support Kyushu University as a joint partner in this exciting exhibition! 👍 In addition to this, our DAC system will also be displayed at JR Bentencho Station during the Expo, making it easier for visitors to experience our technology in action. X Board = a Sustainable option, why are we not doing more ?

What do you think about #WorldExpo shows? 1. They have an enormous amount of budget 2. They have top notch designers and constructors 3. Behind it there is a strong national interest and reputation So why they are so UNSUSTAINABLE and are a cause of MASSIVE quantities of CO2 emissions? I call to Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) to urgently and seriously commit to setting strong rules for all the World Expos to come, to be a lighthouse in showing that when there is enough budget, knowledge and will, it is possible to: 1. Construct every pavilion from at least 90% of natural, biodegradable or recycled materials 2. Construct pavilions in a way that they can be disassembled and reused after end of expo 3. To keep track of CO2 emissions of construction of the Expo and compensate with supporting different sustainable projects that are preventing CO2 emissions arround the globe Soon there will be Expo in Belgrade #Expo2027.
