During Upstream Festival, the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship presented the #Top250NL, recognizing the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands 🌟 Growing fast is one thing, but sustaining growth over a longer period can be incredibly challenging. In today’s rapidly digitalizing world, it raises the question of whether looking at FTEs is the only way to measure a firm’s growth. This year, we’re seeing a rise in companies that combine high growth with positive societal impact. #CREACT4MED IV Regional Alumni Network Event: Creative Minds, Sustainable Futures - Fostering SDGs through CCI Entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean. On Thursday 4th July, 11:00-12:30 CET via Zoom, CREACT4MED is holding its fourth regional alumni network event on the crucial topic of the Sustainable Development Goals #SGDs and how they connect to #entrepreneurship in the #cultural and #creative industries in the Mediterranean. The Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) play a pivotal role in the Mediterranean region's social, economic, and cultural fabric. This diverse industry includes art, design, film, music, literature, crafts, and more. Given their societal impact, CCI actors have the potential to significantly contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of CREACT4MED’S Regional Alumni Event series, this webinar aims to explore how CCI entrepreneurs can align their projects with SDGs to foster sustainability and make a positive impact on their environments. 🌟 Celebrating my Anniversary as an Entrepreneur 🚀 💼 One year ago, I made the leap from corporate innovation to the exhilarating world of entrepreneurship. What started as an idea nurtured on a university bench at Politecnico di Milano has grown into my full-time passion, transforming sustainable actions into tangible benefits for people through HexErgy. 🌐 Reflecting on this journey, I recently had the incredible opportunity to present HexErgy’s impact at the #MSMEDay during the Geneva & Fribourg Entrepreneurship Forum with the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) at the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD). It's humbling to see how our initiative aimed at promoting renewable energy communities in Italy, Netherlands, and Latin America has evolved into a comprehensive solution, fostering their adoption. It's even more remarkable to have a platform to share our experience, motivations, and challenges on the same stage that defined the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which inspired me to designed the HexErgy’s logo. 🤝This journey has taught me invaluable lessons in resilience, creativity, and the transformative power of innovation. I am very grateful with my former innovation colleagues Michele Rossi and Giulia Minghetti, and now with my partners in crime Luca Di Narzo, Fleur Engelberts, Kauan Von Novack and Rik Bhattacharya, MBA with whom I celebrate all these achievements. Reflecting on an Outstanding Learning Experience: Moonshot Thinking at ESADE 🌑 Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Moonshot Thinking course at Esade in Barcelona, organized by CaixaBank DayOne. It was an outstanding experience that has left a lasting impact on me. Under Ivan Bofarull's guidance, we delved into the fascinating world of disruptive thinking. The course introduced us to the powerful concept of thinking 10x instead of 10%, pushing us to reimagine what's possible in our fields. Ivan's approach was highly engaging; he actively encouraged participation and sparked thought-provoking debates that made us step outside our comfort zones. One of the most memorable moments was learning about others' groundbreaking initiatives in the course. From efforts to save our planet, to helping marginalized groups improve their lives, and even innovative money-making strategies, the diversity of ideas was truly inspiring. Another highlight was the incredible experience of meeting so many talented and humble people—the real entrepreneurs. The passion, creativity, and humility displayed by everyone I met was truly remarkable and added an invaluable dimension to the course. Professionally, this course reinforced that our company is already on the right track. We embody Moonshot Thinking in our DNA, literally aiming to land on the Moon in the near future. The insights gained will undoubtedly fuel our ongoing projects and aspirations. For anyone considering this course in the future, don't miss out.
