Great to see #Reuse discussed in detail throughout the Architects Climate Action Network Design Guide through all #riba stages. The report outlines the benefit of retaining existing assets, building components and materials at their highest value and maximising opportunities for their future reuse. The Material Index platform allows contractors and project teams to rapidly catalogue materials and building components, promoting reuse on-site with the design team, then off-site reuse through our resale network or donation partners. This can be done as part of a pre-demolition audit for planning or by forward thinking project teams to achieve maximum reuse opportunities.
