The third panel of the first day of the Environmental & Sustainability Summit moved the talks to “Urban Development to Drive Sustainability in Real Estate”. The session delves into the latest strategies and innovations in sustainable real estate development, focusing on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria, reducing carbon footprints and eliminating reliance on fossil fuels. Also, the speakers talked about the regeneration of urban centres, old building with historical value and multifunctional projects of urban regeneration as crucial factors in the development of smart and sustainable communities, as well as the role of the local authorities in changing the cities into sustainable communities. https://lnkd.in/exMxz8qj
