Gas Collector and Exhaust Valve Upstream for eliminating bubbles at a magnetic flowmeter. Purpose: Gas Collector: This device is designed to capture and collect gas bubbles from the liquid before it reaches the flow meter. Exhaust Valve: This valve allows the collected gas to be safely vented out of the system. How They Work: Gas Collector: Installed upstream of the electromagnetic flow meter. As the liquid flows through the gas collector, any gas bubbles present in the liquid are captured and separated from the liquid stream. This helps in preventing large bubbles from reaching the flow meter, which could otherwise cause measurement errors. Exhaust Valve: Positioned after the gas collector. It releases the collected gas from the system, ensuring that only bubble-free liquid continues to flow towards the flow meter. This process helps maintain the accuracy and stability of the flow measurements. Benefits: Improved Accuracy: By removing gas bubbles, the flow meter can provide more accurate and stable readings. Reduced Maintenance: Prevents the need for frequent recalibration or maintenance due to bubble-induced errors. Versatility: Especially useful in systems where changing the installation position of the flow meter is not feasible. Installation Considerations: Ensure the gas collector and exhaust valve are properly sized for the flow rate and pipe diameter.
