Thermal Energy Storage: Leverages temperature differences to store energy. Molten salts, for example, can be heated during excess solar generation and used to generate electricity later. 2. Chemical Energy Storage: Employs chemical reactions to store energy. Hydrogen, created through electrolysis using excess renewable energy, can be stored and used in fuel cells to generate electricity when needed. 3.
