Just the way no man would propose “ Will You Marry Me” on the first date, that is the way it is for marketing. Marketing is much like dating- (Your continuous show-up starts to trigger feelings). It takes a series of steps and events before conversion is made. Customers are unlikely to spend their money after just one exposure to your product. To succeed, you need to continuously build trust and loyalty through Compelling Content. #Prudentiawrites #Newweek #Marketingtip #Contentmarketing

If you’re going to create content as part of a marketing strategy then absolutely make sure it doesn’t suck. These blogs and videos and whatever else you’re making should be high-quality and give your customers something. Awesome guides, useful information, and expert insights. These are all examples of blog content that should be part of your brand. There’s so much sludge out there, all competing for the eyes and ears of potential leads. The last thing you want to do is waste a customer’s time with info they don’t need–or worse, they hate it and then associate that hate with your brand. Stick to themes relevant to your customers. Decide what formats you want to attack. Create good stuff. It doesn’t get any simpler than that. #Marketing #Advertising

Marketing is not re-using the same video’s and posting them in a re-make video, which personally is a lazy approach to posting online, it’s creating fresh idea’s, making new content and producing eye catching material that makes people want to pay attention. In this day and age, if you can’t make the content can you really class yourself as a marketer?

The controversy around this marketing strategy often stems from concerns about its authenticity and intentions. My view is that it can be manipulative or deceptive if the primary goal is simply to increase content consumption rather than to provide real value to potential customers. There are 4 items that I think should be considered about this issue: 1. Reality: Some may perceive this strategy as disingenuous if the content is only intended to drive future sales without truly addressing the audience's needs or interests. Content that is too sales-oriented or lacks substance can lead to scepticism and distrust. 2. Value versus Promotion: There is a fine line between providing valuable content that educates, entertains or informs and content that primarily serves as a promotional tool. Audiences are becoming increasingly savvy and can quickly recognise when they are being sold to rather than being offered real value. 3. Long-Term Relationship: While it is effective to drive future demand through content consumption, it is crucial to focus on building a long-term relationship with the audience, rather than only looking for short-term gains. Prioritising trust and credibility can lead to more sustainable customer relationships in the long run. 4. Transparency: Being transparent about your intentions can help reduce concerns about manipulation. If content clearly articulates its purpose and provides real value to the audience, it is more likely to be well received. Ultimately, the success of this strategy depends on the approach taken and the quality of the content delivered. If the content really resonates with the audience and addresses their needs or interests, it can indeed lead to increased future demand. However, if the focus is solely on driving sales without providing value, it can backfire and DAMAGE the brand's reputation.
This is a controversial marketing strategy to some, and I'm not sure why. If you can get people to consume more of your content before they even have a need to purchase from you, you are going to have an easier time closing them as a customer when they do eventually have that need. Content = future demand

You know it when you see it - marketing that resonates, inspires, and connects. It's the kind that feels like a warm conversation with a friend, not a sales pitch. When marketing is genuine, it stops feeling like marketing altogether. It becomes a connection, a relationship, a shared moment. It's about understanding and empathy, not just selling a product or service. Aim for marketing that feels less like marketing and more like a friendly conversation. Your audience will thank you. #marketingmondays #marketingstrategy #cfmarketing #contentmarketing #marketingtips marketing tips, marketing strategy, content marketing

Had to share this today. Certainly, content marketing strategies can evoke differing opinions, and it's understandable why some may find this approach controversial. However, the underlying principle is rooted in a deeper understanding of consumer behavior. By strategically providing valuable content to your audience, you're not just aiming to sell a product or service directly. Instead, you're nurturing a relationship based on trust and authority. When the time comes for the consumer to make a purchasing decision, they're more likely to choose a brand they already have a positive connection with. In essence, content serves as a bridge between your brand and potential customers, cultivating future demand by establishing your expertise and credibility in the field. It's a long-term investment in building lasting relationships and driving sustainable growth. Thoughts?

Quick marketing insight from the front lines: You know how everyone’s all about video content, especially those flashy reels? Well, guess what? For my real estate client, it is the humble static image that’s stealing the show! I was all set to launch a series of dynamic reels, convinced they’d be the ultimate engagement boosters. But, as it turns out, the static image is stealing the spotlight. Who knew that it could be so effective? This experience has taught me a valuable lesson: Always keep testing and never underestimate the power of a single, well-crafted image. Sometimes, a clear, straightforward visual can impact more than a video. Have you had any surprising marketing discoveries lately?
