After a heartbreaking failed adoption from China 💔, Tommie and Estela Russo remained deeply committed to their calling and are now eagerly waiting to bring home two brothers from Taiwan. Their journey has been filled with unexpected hurdles, but their faith and the support of their community have kept them going 🙏💖. However, the financial strain is immense. With costs approaching $65,000—covering agency fees, legal expenses, and travel—the Russos are at a critical juncture. Without the necessary funds, their ability to complete this adoption could be delayed, leaving the two boys they are waiting to bring home in limbo 💼✈️. As we prepare for Pure Religion Sunday ✝️, I urge you to consider how you can make a real difference for families like the Russos. Whether through prayer 🙏, giving 💳, or sharing this message with others 📢, your involvement is critical to helping these families bring their children home 🏡 #PureReligionSunday #Adoption #OmnahFoundation #CAFO #OrphanCare

I no longer ask why these wars aren't mentioned in the news because the answer has become evident. Gaza has received obsessive and often wrong reporting. Almost everyone has an opinion and thinks they know the truth, but they are often wrong. It has begun to feel as if those who support Israel are speaking in an echo chamber. Americans and others safe in their world should feel compelled to get involved. Women, the elderly, and children around the world are threatened, starved, and killed. 10 Conflicts to Watch in 2024https://lnkd.in/e6ipiE-p Gaza Wider Middle East War Sudan Ukraine Myanmar Ethiopia The Sahel Haiti Armenia-Azerbaijan U.S.-China
Armenian children savoring their first cherries – a simple, joyful moment under the shadow of a grave injustice. Did you know that a genocide is unfolding in Armenia? Over the past four years, more than 120,000 Armenian Christians have been forcibly displaced from their ancestral lands. As an American, I've noticed a troubling silence from Christians here regarding the plight of their fellow believers in Armenia. This lack of awareness and action is disheartening. Americans must rise to the occasion and stand in solidarity with Armenians. We must amplify their voices, raise awareness, and take meaningful steps to support them in their time of dire need. Tomorrow July 26 will be the 177th Independence Day of the Republic of Liberia (July 26,1847). Few unique things about Liberia: 1. Only Negroes or those of Negro decent can become citizens, participate in electoral process, hold public office or own landed properties. 2. In Liberia there are no religious or tribal leaders that have dominion over our culture or faith and for whom we labor and sweat, or bow to. 3. Liberians are very religious but religion does not determine how we relate to one another. 4. In Liberia the government is not too big or too powerful.Even the President is just a relative, a neighbour,a church member, a former class or workmate...everybody knows somebody who knows somebody that knows somebody.

Mindanao, the second-largest island in the Philippines, has been a hotspot for conflict for decades, primarily between Christian, Muslim and Indigenous communities. The root causes of the conflict include historical grievances, political issues, and territorial disputes. In response, Mensen met een Missie supports local organizations to promote peace and understanding across these groups. We focus on peace seminars, interreligious dialogues, and open forums where participants from different communities can share and learn about each other’s beliefs. These initiative help break down stereotypes and build mutual respect. Through these efforts we are forging pathways towards a more peaceful and inclusive future for Mindanao. By addressing prejudices, facilitating dialogue, and engaging communities in peacebuilding, we are laying the groundwork for lasting harmony. #luo #hebrew Name 'Watta' It is important for Kenyan officials to understand the ideology, behind Collective West pouring upwards of Ksh 45 billion shillings yearly, into Kenya's democracy projects. It is Luo containment. The fear of the House of Israel, an identity the West stole and now abuses to destabilise the world. Want us to see for ourselves, the families of Israel, Dark skinned Iberian Peninsular diaspora, exiled in Western Kenya and Northern Tanzania. The Wattasid dynasty (Arabic: الوطاسيون, al-waṭṭāsīyūn) was a ruling dynasty of Morocco. Like the Marinid dynasty, its rulers were of Zenata Berber descent.[4] The two families were related, and the Marinids recruited many viziers from the Wattasids. These viziers assumed the powers of the Sultans, seizing control of the Marinid dynasty's realm when the last Marinid, Abu Muhammad Abd al-Haqq, who had massacred many of the Wattasids in 1459, was murdered during a popular revolt in Fez in 1465. #Note: The Luo are descended from migrants who moved into western Kenya between the 15th and 20th centuries in four waves. Tens of thousands of Spanish Jews fled Spain, including to Portugal, where King John II granted them asylum in return for payment. However, the asylum was withdrawn after eight months, with the Portuguese government decreeing the enslavement of all Jews (Luos) who had not left Portugal. Until the year 1524, there was no letter 'J' in the alphabet. The letter 'J' was originally the same letter as 'I. How were Jews known as before 1524 ?
