💡 Building Beyond Wants: Focusing on What’s Needed I read somewhere "What distinguishes best agencies from good ones is the ability to deliver what customer needs rather than what customer wants..!!" As developers, we’re often presented with feature requests or specific ideas. But the real value we bring lies in understanding not just what they want, but what they truly need. Sometimes, what’s requested is just the surface of a deeper challenge. The best outcomes happen when we take the time to: • Ask thoughtful questions to uncover the root problem. • Think critically about how a solution can deliver long-term value. • Collaborate closely to align expectations with real needs. It’s not about pushing back on ideas; it’s about partnering with the stakeholders to create meaningful solutions that truly solve their pain points. This approach isn’t always easy, but it’s worth the effort. At the end of the day, building something impactful feels far more rewarding than simply checking items off a list. What’s your experience with balancing wants and needs in development? I’d love to hear your thoughts. #ProductDevelopment #SoftwareEngineering #CustomerNeeds #Collaboration

🚀 Client Feedback is a Superpower 💬 Ever had a project where everything seems perfect... until it isn’t? 😅 Here’s the thing: even a perfect brief doesn’t guarantee a smooth ride. Honest, real-time feedback from clients is the true superpower behind every successful project! 🦸♂️ It’s not about nitpicking—it’s about refining. When clients and designers are in sync, the outcome isn’t just good, it’s exceptional. Feedback helps us adjust, align, and ultimately create something that works for both the brand and the audience. 🎯 🌟 Here's why I love it: 1️⃣ Builds trust: Open communication shows you care about the results. 2️⃣ Enhances creativity: With feedback, we explore new angles we might have missed. 3️⃣ Achieves alignment: Clear insights lead to a final product that reflects exactly what the client envisions. So, to all clients out there, keep that feedback coming! Let’s refine those ideas together and make magic happen. 🔥 #ClientPartnership #WebflowDesign #CreativeProcess #FeedbackIsKey #FlowSamurai

“We love it, but it’s not quite right” ouchie! Your team wraps up a creative project, They’re even proud of it, Then the client says, “It’s not exactly what we wanted.” Often happened? Misaligned expectations at kickoff can be the culprit (or maybe your client is just an a$$ 🤣) When client goals aren’t clear from the beginning, Creative projects risk veering off course And this is not fun at all This leads to: more revision, wasted effort, and an experience ➡️ that doesn’t quite “wow” the client. I believe starting with crystal-clear goals can transform the entire project outcome. When your team knows EXACTLY what the client envisions, they can create work that truly hits the mark. Here are 3 steps to align on goals from day 1: 1️⃣ Ask questions that dig deep: Beyond deliverables, ask clients what “success” really means for them. Understanding their vision and end goals makes all the difference. 2️⃣ Define Measurable Outcomes Together: Set tangible goals, whether it’s boosting engagement or aligning with brand identity. This clarity keeps everyone on track. 3️⃣ Document and Share with the Team: Put it in writing! A well-defined brief ensures the whole team is aligned and ready to deliver. Ready to make missed expectations a thing of the past? Repost if you believe clear goals lead to better client outcomes!

⚡️What is the power in focusing on curiousity, experiments, and team dynamics rather than solutions? (If you’re wondering now, how this picture fits the message, there’s a reveal below…) Here’s the thing: Many businesses, actually, most of them, skip an essential phase: the problem phase. They rush to create products and services that nobody needs, using aggressive and sometimes unethical marketing tactics to push sales. So, here are 5 things you get out of using design thinking and investing into the “problem space”: 🧏🏻♀️ in-depth understanding of your challenge, thus confidence and effectiveness in crafting solutions 🤝 enhanced decision-making processes in interdisciplinary teams 👁 genuine connection to your audience and their ecosystems 🌱 fertile ground for ethical marketing and organic business growth 🗺 sharper focus and purpose in your work, saving you energy, time, and money And even though it can seem inconvenient at first – the mindset behind design thinking, encourages us to"sit with the problem". You might even take it a step further and actually look into the systemic layers of your challenge, that not only one “target group” is facing, but entire ecosystems. And you might even enjoy it and evolve as a team in the process? 👀 Taking the time to research and later on test before building your products and services might slow things down initially. But understanding your direction, building solutions with systemic impact, plus the creative confidence and fun in the process? Now, that's worth it, big time. 🐌⚡️ #designthinking #strategicdesign #workshop PICTURE REVEAL: As experts in the field (😬🌷) of strategic design and facilitation, Lily Higgins and I have been working on something exciting. We want to get you and your team from overwhelmed solution-focus to strategic and fun experiment mode. And we would even travel to facilitate this 😉 Keep your eyes open next week, when we announce more 💜 Meanwhile, sign up here to receive updates: https://lnkd.in/d_cMmFJX

One of the biggest challenges I faced as a planner was helping clients visualize the final output. The dreaded 'imagine this, but better' conversations rarely led anywhere. I used to spend days creating concept videos because seeing is believing. Today, I played around with some new tools and created a concept video in 5 minutes. The quality blew me away. This isn't about replacing creative teams - it's about making ideation and presentations more effective. When clients can actually see what you're thinking, half the battle is won. DM me if you'd like to know the workflow I used 👋
