🎯 Navigating the Non-Technical Client Journey: Strategies for Success 🚀 Working with non-technical clients is like translating a masterpiece into a new language—it takes skill, creativity, and patience. Here's how you can ensure your client relationships thrive, even when they don’t speak “tech.” 💡 1. Start with the Big Picture: Before diving into the tech details, paint a vision. Show how the solution will solve their problem and add value. It’s not about the how—it’s about the why. 📣 2. Decode the Jargon: “API,” “scalability,” and “cloud” might sound like another planet. Break it down into everyday language or relatable analogies. Imagine explaining tech to your 10-year-old self! 🎨 3. Use Storytelling & Visuals: Flowcharts, infographics, and real-world examples can make the abstract tangible. A quick demo can often do more than hours of explaining. 🛠 4. Empower Through Understanding: Take the time to educate without overwhelming. When they feel informed, they’ll trust your expertise even more. ⏱ 5. Be Transparent, Always: Share timelines, budgets, and potential roadblocks in plain terms. Non-technical doesn’t mean unaware—they value honesty and clarity as much as you do. 🤝 6. Collaboration is Key: It’s not about you delivering but about working together. Make them feel like a co-creator of the solution, not just a recipient. 🌟 7. Celebrate Milestones: Every progress point is a win—share it, simplify it, and celebrate it! It builds trust and keeps excitement alive. Non-technical clients may not know tech, but they know their goals. Our job? To bridge the gap and guide them with clarity and empathy. 🌈 💬 How do you build trust and collaboration with non-technical clients? Let’s exchange ideas and grow together! Mastering Problem-Solving with the 5 Whys Technique 🔍 In a world full of challenges, identifying the root cause of a problem is key to finding effective and long-lasting solutions. The 5 Whys technique is a simple but powerful tool that helps you dig deeper and discover the real reason behind the problem. 🌟 It’s one of the simplest yet most effective problem-solving tools, it’s my go-to technique when tackling issues. Because understanding why something happens is half the battle won in delivering real value! Here's how it works: 1️⃣ State the problem clearly. 2️⃣ Ask "Why did this happen?" 3️⃣ Keep asking "Why?" for each answer. 4️⃣ Discover the root cause and take actionable steps to fix it. 💡 Example: Problem: You missed an important email. Why? You didn’t see it in your inbox. Why? The email got lost among other messages. Why? Your inbox is too cluttered. Why? You haven’t unsubscribed from old newsletters. Why? You didn’t prioritize cleaning up your inbox. ✅ Solution: Set time aside each week to organize your inbox and unsubscribe from unnecessary emails. I recently applied the 5 Whys while designing a wireframe at work. It helped me uncover hidden user experience issues I hadn’t considered before. The result? A smoother, more intuitive design! 💡 The beauty of the 5 Whys is that it works beyond the workplace—whether figuring out why you’re always late or why you can’t find your keys despite checking the usual spots. 🔑 This technique encourages critical thinking, helps remove the guesswork, and ensures we’re solving the real issue, not just slapping on a band-aid. 💭 Let’s keep asking questions and solving problems creatively! #ProblemSolving #CriticalThinking #RootCauseAnalysis #Leadership #ContinuousImprovement #WireframeDesign #figma #LifeHacks #LifelongLearning

3 quick concepts for feedback collection during co-design: 1. Small circle, big circle: a co-design process that engages with a few intensively but also collects insight from a broader stakeholder pool. The 'small circle' are those directly involved in the co-design activity. The 'big circle' are other stakeholders and people with lived experience. 2. Feedback loops: 'Looping' is another way to describe the cycle of receiving and incorporating external input. These loops occur at various points in the co-design process. The feedback is captured and integrated into the co-design findings, giving the process added weight and credibility. 3. Going deep vs going wide: 'going deep' refers to in-depth engagement with a small group of co-design participants. It typically involves smaller groups. 'Going wide' means expanding the scope to include feedback more broadly from stakeholders outside those engaged directly. Read more in our latest blog 'Maximise co-design impact' on our website!

Unlock Your Productivity Potential: Prioritize Like a Pro 😎 Ever felt like your to-do list was growing faster than you could shrink it? We all have. But don’t worry, fellow ambitious people! Here are some effective guides to prioritizing like a pro: 1️⃣ Identify Urgent vs. Important: Not all deadlines are created equal. Distinguish tasks with critical consequences (meeting deadlines) from those that contribute to long-term goals (learning a new skill). Urgent trumps important, unless the important task boasts major impact. 2️⃣ Utilize the Eisenhower Matrix: This useful tool divides tasks into different categories based on their urgency and importance. “Do First” tasks are both urgent and important (e.g., missed deadlines!), “Schedule” tasks are important but not urgent (strategic planning), “Delegate” tasks are urgent but less critical (non-critical emails), while “Eliminate” is something that doesn’t matter at all, as it represents what is not important and not urgent (unsubscribe from unnecessary newsletters!). 3️⃣ Effort vs. Impact: Consider the workload involved and the impact on your goals. Prioritize high-impact, low-effort tasks (think quick wins!), followed by high-impact, high-effort ones (complex projects). 4️⃣ Time Blocking is Your New Best Friend: Allocate specific time slots in your calendar for high-priority tasks. This eliminates scheduling conflicts and keeps you laser-focused. Bonus Tip #1: Set Realistic Goals: Don't overload yourself. Aim for achievable tasks you can complete within a set timeframe. A completed task list is way more motivating than a never-ending one! Bonus Tip #2: Minimize Distractions: Turn off notifications, silence your phone, and find a quiet workspace. Focus is key to conquering your to-do list. #Sabbir10r #productivity #timemanagement #timemangement #worksmart #uxdesign #productdesign
