Here's how ZURU Toy Company went from NOVICE to EXPERT on Roblox. 1. Identified Roblox as a great platform to reach their core consumers. 2. Dove into the platform, gaining 1st-hand knowledge of Roblox from a player's perspective. 3. Selected a development partner, Novaly Studios, who had deep platform knowledge and shared their enthusiasm for the Rainbocorns IP 4. Adjusted their approach along the way, balancing creating a fun experience with their brand objectives 5. Worked closely with their developer, designing an experience that was fun and also true to their IP 6. Launched and iterated, gaining learnings and new user growth along the way. Results thus far: 6 million lifetime visits to Raise a Rainbocorn in only a few months. Times Square just got 'game' from Virtual Vote's new AD campaign celebrating our Roblox games who distributed the experience driving 3MM players to learn through 'play'. Thanks OUTFRONT Media for donating this (and the other 20 DMAs)! Building a distribution network to reach 60MM+ monthly players (over 20% of the entire platform reach) was fundamental to meet players where they spend the most time. But it's impossible (almost) to do... How did Virtual Vote do it? 🤷♂️ Super League contributed its amazing "Pop Up" technology that allows any brand to create an experience within other experiences. This looks just like when you go to a mall and see a temporary brand activation doing sampling or selfies but more interactive, playable. In this analogy Roblox is the mall and Vote is the "Pop up". "Pop Ups" are possibly Roblox's most effective marketing tool with the best ROI because they are: 1️⃣ Fast: "drag and drop" SDK, deployable in < 10 mins (biggest reason why devs/games will use it). 2️⃣ Scalable: Any game can deploy it. We are excited to announce the MetaMerch collaboration with kit manufacturer and all around football junkies, Terrace! From stadium retail operations to technical partner agreements, Terrace are across all aspects of sportswear merchandise. Terrace work across the EFL (English Football League) and Grassroots football across the UK. Working with Terrace, we created a collection of Digital Goods, replicating physical clothing items and accessories in digital form with the power of the MetaMerch technology. Utilising a “Direct-to-Marketplace” strategy, with Digital Goods at the centre of the Terrace launch, enabled us to bring the Terrace brand to Roblox, in a cost effective way with unlimited paid items, that will help set the foundation for Terrace to build an audience and provide a stepping stone for a deeper integration into the Roblox space. The ability of the MetaMerch tool to provide a cost effective solution, to create Digital Goods at scale, allowed Terrace to start their Roblox journey. Going from initial conversations to launch, in a matter of weeks. Terrace are deeply engrained in grassroots football and they understand the importance of inspiring kids to play sports. Carl Sewell, Director at Terrace, saw an opportunity to bring his local team, Bletchley Scot FC, to Roblox. We created a replica of the Bletchley Scot shirt with Terrace for Roblox.
