Ultra High Performance Concrete, this unique material, can also be referred to as reconstituted stone and is available in thicknesses of 20mm, or 30mm. UHPC’s distinction lies in its integration of high-strength steel fibres, offering a robust and resilient finish. Aesthetic versatility is another hallmark. Finishing options range from conventional selections such as smooth, sandblasted, or acid-etched to more innovative, textured variations with the use of reckli moulds. 💠A1 Fire Rated. 💠Panel sizes up to 3000mm x 1200mm. 💠Wide range of colours and finishing options. 💠More effective than GRC for simpler designs (i.e. flat panels). Divider strips are cut and placed on the prepared flooring surface before the terrazzo is mixed and installed. They are used to separate color changes in the floor, create patterns and designs, and can control cracking in the ⅜” thick terrazzo overlay. TYPES OF DIVIDER STRIPS We use three common types of divider strips for different purposes. ▪️ Thick Metal Strips – Used for color changes and as a transitions to other materials. Available in Aluminium, Brass, or Zinc metal. ▪️ Thin Metal Strips – Used for the grid pattern. Available in Aluminium, Brass, or Zinc metal. ▪️ Neoprene Strips – Installed over cold joints. Provides some flexibility in the floor for movement in the concrete slab.

What are the 3 main benefits of mild steel balustrade? Strength and Durability Mild steel is known for its high strength and durability, making it a reliable choice for balustrade construction. It can withstand significant loads and pressures, ensuring the safety and stability of the structure. Cost-Effective Mild steel is relatively inexpensive compared to other metals, such as stainless steel or wrought iron. This makes it a cost-effective option for balustrade installations, especially when dealing with large-scale projects. Versatility Mild steel is highly versatile and can be easily shaped, fabricated, and welded to create intricate and attractive designs for balustrades. It can be customized to match different architectural styles and aesthetic preferences. www.k-fix.co.uk #mildsteel #balustrade #bespokebalustrade #mildsteelbalustrade #bespokesteelwork #steelwork

Ever come across CNP steel and C-channel profiles, but weren't sure which one to use for your project? You're not alone! Both are popular choices in construction, but they have key distinctions. Let's break it down! CNP (Cold-Formed Non-Structural Steel Channel): Lighter weight and thinner walls compared to C-channels. Ideal for non-structural applications like framing, cladding, and interior partitions. Offers a clean, finished look due to its cold-forming process. C-Channel: Stronger and more robust than CNP due to its thicker walls. Commonly used for structural applications like beams, lintels, and purlins. Available in hot-rolled or cold-rolled options, offering a wider range of strengths. The best choice depends on your project's specific needs. Consider weight limitations, load-bearing requirements, and desired aesthetics. ️ #CNPsteel #Cchannel #steel #construction #engineering #materialselection

5 Top tips for fixing your cladding boards 1️⃣ Fix each cladding board individually with Stainless Steel grade 304 fixings to timber support battens. 2️⃣ Fixings should penetrate into the batten 2 to 2.5 times the thickness of the cladding. 3️⃣ If using nails, we recommend using annular ring shanks. Brad nails or pins are typically not strong enough. 4️⃣ Pre-drill pilot holes to reduce splitting around fixing points, and slightly oversized to allow for movement. 5️⃣ Boards that are ≥100mm should have two screws per batten, except for secret fix T&G and 150mm featheredge. #TimberCladding #WoodFacade #SustainableLiving #ArchitecturalBeauty #WoodenExteriors #DesignInspiration #ModernArchitecture #TimberLove #SustainableConstruction #TimelessDesign #HomeRenovation #NatureInDesign #ExteriorInspiration #RenewableMaterials #Cladding #Construction #TimberSupply

A rainscreen façade is a non-structural, aesthetic layer or thin panel on the outer skin of the building that protects everything inside it from the external weather elements. These panels can be made of a wide range of materials, including metal (eg. aluminium, steel, zinc), timber, glass, ceramic, laminates, and composite panels. There are three distinct main elements to a rainscreen cladding system as a whole: 👉 the protective outer skin (which is the rainscreen façade); 👉 a supporting frame on which the outer skin is structurally fixed; 👉 and water-resistant internal materials which includes a layer of insulation and a vapour barrier. Learn more about the difference between rainscreen and insulated panels: https://zurl.co/dvQo #Facades #FacadeDesign #InsulatedPanels #Rainscreen

Efficiency is key in industrial flooring, and we’ve mastered it. In fact, it’s something we’re great at when it comes to demolition, too. Sure, carpet and tile removal can be a pain. That’s why our team uses “The Twister” by the SASE Company, LLC. It effortlessly pulls up carpet, tile, and glue, leaving bare concrete. Then, we use that canvas to create the floor of your company’s dreams. #DFW #IndustrialFlooring #Construction
