How much equity should I give away??? 👀 Giving away too much equity too quickly, WILL DAMAGE your future potential!!! 🥵 If you get to Series A/B and you only have 20% of equity remaining, almost all VCs will think you don't have enough incentive to get the company to where it needs to be. The objective is for the founding team to drop below 50% equity after SeriesB/C 🚀 Each round you should dilute 10-20% (maximum you should go up to is 25%). .... We get Founders back-to-back VC deal-flow (Pre-Seed to SeriesB). https://www.easyintro.vc/

Building lasting wealth is all about patience. True investors let their capital work for them over the years, watching it compound and grow steadily. Needless to say, each one of our investors is currently on their journey to wealth creation, and it is our firm resolve that the "journey" is just as important as the destination. #privateequity #venturecapital #angelinvesting #investmentopportunities #techstartupfunding #startupfunding #investmentopportunity #TekediaCapitalUSA #StartupDriversbyOdigital

And yet, many limited partners look for firms that fit a pattern they recognize and feel comfortable with . . . That pattern is a pattern that virtually assures failure. If we’re gonna fail anyway, I’d rather Lisa Morales-Hellebo and I fail in our own unique and glorious way while we build REFASHIOND Ventures: The Industrial Transformation Fund into the world’s best early-stage Industrial Transformation & Supply Chain Technology venture firm. At most venture capital firms, Industrial Transformation & Supply Chain Technology is a tiny, emerging “area of interest” . . . At REFASHIOND Ventures: The Industrial Transformation Fund it’s our entire world. Join us. #IndustrialTransformation #SupplyChain #Innovation #Technology #Startups #VentureCapital

“the Top 20 VCs are said to earn about 97% of VC returns because most of their profits are said to come from about 15 homeruns. And the Top 20 are the VCs that consistently fund them. These Top 20 are either based in Silicon Valley or have offices there. This suggests that most VCs who not in the Top 20 most likely are close to breakeven or lose money. “

“Is my business venture scale” is the first question that a founder needs to ask when considering raising money. There are lots of investors that are not VC, and we will see more “one and done” investment rounds as AI reshapes capital efficiency. If you have a truly world-changing, fund returning idea, great! Jump into the VC pool. But be clear eyed about what a venture scale path, probability, and outcome, looks like.

Probably the most common mistake I see aspiring founders make is to assume there’s a load of VC money available for a $50m idea. There isn't. Actually, when you’ve been doing this for a while, you realise that very few investors are interested in ideas like that. To many investors, a $50m exit is going to be considered a failure (or at least not a great success). So, if you want to build a $50m business, forget VC. Raise a one-and-done round from angels, friends and family, then grow with revenue, debt and grants (if you can get them). This is the way. #startabusiness #raisingmoney
