CueTimer can double up as a speaker-timer software and the event-schedule where you keep track of all that's happening on the show. In the example video, I use the columns "Microphones" and "Presention" that I use frequently in my own work as an audio/video technician. Then I need to know what microphones are being used, and the name of the presentation that will be displayed (and if the speakers dont use a presentation, that's important to know as well) By having all this info available in CueTimer, I don't need an extra screen with the event-schedule just for that. Download CueTimer: https://lnkd.in/dFBHDHkD https://lnkd.in/d_9dSPhE
With the latest version 3.1 of CueTimer, you can configure the timer-list exactly as you want it: Move the columns around, and add custom info. This means that you can now use CueTimer as an event-schedule. Our new tutorial-video shows you how

We’re building Keel around two guiding principles 1️⃣ A backend is so much more than just a database 2️⃣ A backend shouldn’t be an engineering black box and should empower the whole org Today is an exciting day as we share v1.0 with the world. We’ve spoken to countless teams where their technology has slowed them down rather than empowering them to deliver value to their customers. With Keel, we want to give teams a complete toolkit to build and operate custom software that powers their business from day one through to scale. You can read more about more how we’re approaching it at - https://lnkd.in/eVcURrD8 If you’re thinking about building something or already on that journey, we’d love to chat and see how Keel could help you thrive!

Struggling with coming up with the right analogies to describe your platform as a product to technical and non-technical stakeholders as a part of your engineering strategy? Here is a pretty good 15 min video that can get you started. I like the bookmarked segment the most since it easily describes where on the spectrum an internal platform implementation falls. I am also partial to the thin (vs thick) classification which is not a part of this video. In a purist world, uncostrained by reality and immediate needs, I see the most value in thin, floating platform implementations. What do you think? https://lnkd.in/egAmVkJf
