Fluorescein angiography is a valuable diagnostic tool, but it’s not without its limitations. It’s invasive, for some patients it can cause a severe allergic reaction, and a recent shortage of fluorescein may make it necessary to limit the use of this imaging technology and potentially seek a surrogate marker of inflammation. Artificial intelligence (AI) just may help clinicians accomplish that, according to S.
