Strengthening Vietnam Ties with a #MOU signed by #NYCU and #VNU-HUS to Promote Semiconductor Education Recognizing the burgeoning semiconductor industry in Vietnam, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (#NYCU) of #Taiwan is committed to supporting #Vietnam’s national development goals for the next 30 to 50 years by cultivating specialized talent. On July 8th, the NYCU delegation, with assistance from the #Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (#TECO) in Vietnam, signed an MOU with the #VNU-HUS. This MOU aims to promote Vietnamese students’ pursuit of semiconductor degrees in Taiwan. NYCU and VNU-HUS have maintained a strong relationship since establishing the first overseas master’s program in semiconductor industry studies in 2019. The recent agreement is expected to deepen cooperation, attract more talented Vietnamese students to Taiwan, and develop internationally competitive semiconductor professionals, bolstering the industry’s growth in both nations. The events and agreements in July underscore NYCU’s commitment to enhancing international cooperation and talent development in the semiconductor industry.
