Solarimo Constructs 808 kW Photovoltaic Systems in Berlin’s Havelufer Quartier Solarimo, a subsidiary of the French energy group Engie, is installing photovoltaic systems with a total capacity of 808 kilowatts in the Spandau district of Berlin. These systems, part of a project developed by Patrizia and Kauri CAB Berlin, will integrate existing installations and prominently feature on listed buildings. The development, named “Havelufer Quartier,” spans 95,000 square meters and will include 1,700 apartments, both newly constructed and renovated. French #startup BoucL Énergie, a subsidiary of EverWatt, is launching a project in southern #France. They're building wooden-framed photovoltaic canopies in a municipal parking lot in Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie, Gard, to promote #sustainable #energy practices involving the municipality, local businesses, and shops. Scheduled for completion by mid-2025, the project will install a 961 kW system with 2,200 solar panels across 264 parking spaces. The canopies will include 14 EV charging stations and are expected to generate 1,283 MWh annually, enough to power over 250 homes. The energy produced will benefit municipal buildings and support local #businesses within a 10 km radius.
