Remember that phrase, "Hire a good specialist and let them do their thing"? Today about my work for Galaxion Brasil Just last week we published a post about space food. Nothing is rocket science in this case, but we had only organic traffic and achieved ERR 8%, reach 5k, and passed through 10k followers. I took a project a month ago. For any SMM, that's pretty impressive numbers. It is also a wow-result if I compare it with other Brazilian projects I did. We're constantly testing, iterating, and achieving. The Secret Sauce: autonomy & collaboration. My motivation for this project is sky-high. Why? Because I have carte blanche to hit KPIs and open communication with a team I hand-picked and managed myself. It's this kind of trust and freedom that fuels my best work. This is an example of why I prefer teams with priorities are experimentation. In my experience when a company is more focused on my documents (passport/visa) / location (the city / the country / how often I can visit the office), IQ tests / any other prof. tests... I discovered that (usually) this type of question means the hiring of a classical middle employee who does tasks according to algorithms. As a SHE-EO, hiring is one of my favorite and most challenging responsibilities. I saw Steven Bartlett do this and thought...man that's genius, we should do that too and here we are!
