Sometimes we have interns in our team - joining us for a few months and supporting our current work.   So today, we want to introduce you to Rasleen Grover, our current intern. We asked her the "3 + 1 W-questions".   Curious about her answers? 💡 Here we go:     1. Who are you?   "I’m Rasleen Grover, doing my Master’s at TUM and interested in Energy and Mobility."    2. Why do you do an internship in our team?  "Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI is a great place to start with as there are many energy-related projects that fascinate me and I can learn new things."    3. What is your main focus throughout the internship?  "The main focus of my internship is around #housing #inequality in the context of energy justice and climate change. The project is called HouseInc. It is very exciting for me to work within an EU funded project, which can help me create an impact."   4. What was the funniest thing you experienced since you are part of our team?  "The funniest thing is: we have a lot of bread and soup options for lunch here at the cantine, which is new to me because being an Indian we don’t have a lot of bread options and initially it was a cultural shock for me."    Welcome Rasleen!

This is how students without work experience can make their profiles stand out..... Having no work experience but still want to make yourself stand out when applying for internships abroad. The best part is that these also apply to students who want to apply for master's programs abroad. 1) Work on research projects and aim for publications or presentations at conferences. This will showcase your analytical skills and dedication to your field.     2) Build your GitHub profile by taking on as many projects as you can. This will prove to recruiters that you have the technical know-how to get the job done.     3) Participate in hackathons and ideathons to demonstrate your problem-solving abilities. Universities around the world highly value extracurricular involvement.     4) Try participating in quizzes and olympiads related to your field. Winning awards and competitions can serve as proof of your knowledge and expertise.     5) Last but not least, maintain a high GPA. Recruiters often use GPA to judge a student's potential, so make sure to keep it up. You can do a lot more to make your profile stand out, but one of the most important things to remember is to never give up. National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Offers 600 Paid Internships in Taiwan - All Nationalities (Except the Chinese Region) and Students are Eligible. National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) offers an international internship pilot program (IIPP) to attract global talents. The on-board interns are expected to get engaged in advanced studies or begin a career in Taiwan. The ultimate purpose of this internship program is to encourage foreign interns to stay in Taiwan for further education or employment. 600 internships are available which will be conducted at host institutions in Taiwan.
