Tonight, the Vega C rocket operated by ARIANESPACE successfully placed the Copernicus Sentinel-1C satellite into orbit. With the launch of Sentinel-1C, #Arianespace has now delivered six Sentinel satellites for the #Copernicus program, underscoring our dedication to utilizing space for the benefit of life on Earth while ensuring Europe’s autonomous access to space. I would like to express my gratitude to our customers, the European Commission and European Space Agency - ESA, for their exceptional trust in us and to congratulate our partners, AVIO and ESA Space Transportation (STS), for the successful return to flight of Vega C.
