We're very happy to share that we'll be integrating Pangea Aerospace UNyx propulsion system in our reentry vehicles, starting with the first controlled reentry flight of our vehicle Kestrel, currently scheduled for 2026. Pangea is a leading propulsion company, with systems spanning from in-space thrusters to large rocket engines, all the way up to their unbelievable aerospike. They are an example we look up to among European space startups, and for us it's really a honor to partner up with them. Propulsion is a key element for our reentry system: we aim at using advanced onboard autonomy to ensure low-acceleration entry and high pinpoint arrival. A reliable, precise and efficient propulsion system is what enables the accurate maneuvering we need. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but doing it with partners of such a high calibre is really a privilege!
More good news, this time for U-Nyx! 🛰️ We’ve signed an agreement with Orbital Paradigm to integrate our U-Nyx in-space #propulsion system into their space transport vehicles. Orbital Paradigm’s mission is to offer high-cadence, low-acceleration space return missions, ideal for production and biotechnology experiments in microgravity. To achieve this, U-Nyx is the perfect match! It enables orbital maneuvers during operations, as well as deorbiting and attitude control during re-entry. This collaboration will mark a significant advancement in the development of innovative technological solutions for space applications, positioning the Spanish space industry at the forefront, and bringing together two companies leading in space innovation.
