The Power of Embracing Imperfection – Thank You, Team! In today’s world, #success is often seen as being flawless. However, I’ve learned that true #strength lies in embracing imperfection together. Supporting each other through challenges and recognizing the power of words to uplift us makes all the difference. #Feedback becomes a tool for #growth, reminding us that it’s okay to be messy as we strive for #excellence. I have had the privilege of building a #team that reflects this spirit and has fueled my personal growth. Their energy, dedication, and openness remind me daily of the power of #teamwork. And now, it’s time to meet "my squad" Haseeb Khan: The sharp-shooting observer with Lucknow charm and a winning grin 🏆; Sneha Shetty: The ever-sunny learner who turns feedback into fuel☀️; Shivali Darvekar: The soft-spoken powerhouse with a heart full of drive❤️; Priya Khimani : The bold bindaas fighter with a passion for learning🔥. You haven't just been part of this journey, you have made it one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career. Thank you for keeping me on my toes as a leader—I love having to match your amazing energy every single day😊😍. #TeamSpirit #EmbraceImperfection #FeedbackMatters #PowerOfWords #Teamwork #Gratitude

Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) – Who's that Pokémon? 🤔 BHAG is a powerful vision that pushes organisations to achieve greatness. It's ambitious, clear, and compelling—a true North Star for the entire team. But how does it connect with our daily work? 🔗 Aligning BHAG with Organisational Goals: BHAG should serve as the cornerstone of our strategic planning. It should inspire and inform our long-term vision, guiding every major decision and investment. 🔗 Connecting BHAG to Department Goals: Each department should craft goals that support the BHAG. This ensures all teams are moving in the same direction, fostering collaboration and synergy across the organisation. 🔗 Tying BHAG to Individual Goals: Employees should understand how their roles contribute to the BHAG. Personal objectives and key results (OKRs) should align with department goals, creating a sense of purpose and motivating everyone to bring their best. 🚀 Why BHAG Matters: 1. Inspiration: BHAG ignites passion and excitement, driving teams to push boundaries. 2. Focus: It provides a clear target, helping prioritise efforts and resources. 3. Unity: A shared vision fosters collaboration and a sense of belonging. 4. Growth: Ambitious goal encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Wish your BHAG has the same 'wide open eyes,' anticipating the bright future, as my AI-generated creature 😁 #leadership #bhag #goalssetting #teamwork

When I started my journey in college after Jee, I had an aspiration that someday I will build my own startup, will scale it to millions but had almost zero idea of how is it done. I was aware of the development part that an engineer need to work upon in the Product Lifecycle solving for a particular use case but what next? Exploring to the answers, I joined PM club which had a buzz around the campus that It is something where you not only learn the tech but it's a combination of design, tech, business and leadership. I started learning and cracked several national competitions in the pathway with guidance of some phenomenal seniors like Arjun Rastogi sir. But there was something still lacking and the thing was just understanding the theoretical side of things. I lacked implementation skills which is the core skill of PM. You don't just deliver analyzed ideas but also implement them which itself has different arena of problems. You get to know them once you yourself start facing them. You target the goals but there exist a lot of restrictions in achieving them. This particular skill is still in polishing stage and I am practicing it with other members in the club. I am glad to lead the team as a Tech Coordinator but will remain a fellow contributor of ideas to brainstorming sessions with other members. Let's start brainstorming again, implement and evaluate results like we do as a PM. #productmanagement #Implementation #brainstorming

💫 आपदा को अवसर में बदल दिए! (Turned Disaster into Opportunity). Heard this dialogue on the OTT web series Mirzapur, and it really hit me hard 💭 . I've started applying this in my professional life (obviously not in Guddu Bhaiya's style) and already seen an improvement in my decision-making. I've learned that business is all about identifying and creating opportunities. If we wait for opportunities, we'll be left far behind. #Salesforce #Ohana #BusinessLessons #Opportunity #ProfessionalGrowth #Leadership #BusinessStrategy #LearnAndGrow

Copied from Vaibhav Raghuvanshi No matter which industry, Talent can be categorised primarily in three categories and the break up is usually 10:80:10. A. 10% - Excellent Folks - Clearly one notch above everyone in thinking & initiative. They display aspiration backed by ability. B. 80% - Good Folks - Diligent in their jobs and in willingness to help others. They drive the business. C. 10 - Who interviewed him? - Everyone in the organisation asks this about them. They have more excuses than output. The tricks to deal with them: A. Excellent Folks - Utilise them beyond BAU. Give them more exposure to groom them faster. B. Good Folks - Set clear expectations, review periodically and reward their outperformance generously. C. Who Hired Him? - Explore if there are genuine challenges & the possibility of improvement for sometime. If no progress - give routine, mundane tasks and isolate to minimize impact. #Talentmanagement #Talent #Growth #Development

At OPEN Strategy & Design we have worked with a wide spectrum of leaders – from unicorns to legacy brands. We have observed clear best practices that help them recruit and retain high performers. Attracting and grooming talent who become strong brand advocates. At Vedantu, an ed-tech unicorn, we witnessed the power of purpose. We got to work with the founders and key leaders in bringing alive the strongest differentiator of the brand vis-à-vis their purpose and missionary zeal with which they go about creating impact. (Vamsi Krishna, Sim (.) At Walking Tree , a cutting-edge luxury jewellery company, we witnessed how radical ethics and worldviews can become a powerful counterpoint to the category. When infused into the brand story, their culture became their x-factor that magnetically pulled the best talent (and clients) to Walking Tree and powered their disruptive business model. (Ankit Mehta) At Open we have always believed in arming leaders with powerful narratives and stories. When leaders are armed with a powerful story to tell, they are able to get the best talent, the best investors, and the best collaborators to rally behind their vision – their brand.
