🎓 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮'𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗖𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗦 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🌏 On October 7th, CUCAS Indonesia proudly partnered with the Adiluhung Nusantara Foundation, representing the Association osiasi Pemerintah Kabupaten Seluruh Indonesia (APKASI), to send 17 exceptional students from various Indonesian regencies to study at prestigious universities in China, including Zhengzhou University, Hebei Petroleum University, Hefei Normal University, and Sichuan Agriculture University. This initiative aims to uncover hidden talents from across Indonesia's regencies and provide them with transformative opportunities to expand their knowledge in China. The ultimate goal? Equipping these students with valuable education and experiences to return and contribute to the development of their regions. 🔍 Addressing a Critical Challenge Education isn’t always accessible to those with immense potential, particularly in remote areas. This project addresses this gap, recognizing that the lack of educational opportunities often hinders regional and national development. 🤝 Collaborating for Change Thanks to the initiative of visionary leaders within regency government organizations and the collaboration with CUCAS, this program enables the sons and daughters of Indonesia’s regencies to broaden their horizons, pursue world-class education, and bring their insights back home. ✨ Broader Impact Beyond individual achievements, this initiative paves the way for future investments, talent regeneration, and business development. Students leaving their mark in China will become catalysts for progress, driving sustainable growth in their respective regions. We are proud to support this transformative effort and look forward to seeing the remarkable contributions these students will make to their communities and beyond. #CUCASIndonesia #GlobalEducation #APKASI #StudyInChina #EducationForDevelopment #TalentEmpowerment

Nationalism is far more than just the language we speak—it's about the values we uphold, the actions we take, and the contributions we make to our nation. It’s disheartening when my patriotism is questioned simply because I choose to communicate in a language other than Bahasa, with remarks like, “You’re Indonesian, right? So why don’t you speak Bahasa?” Being Indonesian isn’t defined by the language we use but by our deep love for our country and our unwavering dedication to its progress. We must challenge the outdated notion that equates nationalism with language alone. As we strive toward 'Indonesia Emas 2045,' a future where Indonesia is a leading global power, we need to embrace a broader perspective. This includes recognizing that diversity can be a strength, not a weakness. To achieve this vision, we must cultivate an open mindset that values progress over conformity. For my part, I’m committed to empowering the next generation of Indonesians, helping them develop the strength and clarity to know what they stand for and what they’re willing to fight for in life. A strong, self-aware youth is essential for our nation’s future. This is my contribution to Indonesia—a commitment to nurturing a resilient, forward-thinking generation that will lead us into a brighter future. So, I ask you, what have you done to shape the future of our beloved country? How are you contributing to the vision of a prosperous and thriving Indonesia? Let’s reflect on our roles and consider how we can do even more. Happy 79th Independence Day, Indonesia! Together, let’s continue to strive for greatness, building a nation we can all be proud of! “What are your wishes for this 79th Independence Day?” #Happy7thIndependenceDay #Indonesia79 #Merdek #nationalism #loveIndonesia

天无绝人之路 - encapsulates my journey over the past 30-over years. I shared in a Zaobao feature how this spirit of always trusting in God's providence brought me through the many challenges during the financial crisis, 9/11, SARS events; and how this persevering spirit has inspired me to venture into immigration services 3 years ago and next onto the e-learning platform to assist people who aspire to pursue careers in Singapore. 🇲🇾 The Malays are the largest ethnic group in Malaysia, comprising almost 60% of the population. They play a pivotal role in the nation's culture and politics. Alongside them, various of Bumiputera tribes, Chinese and Indians contribute to Malaysia's rich multicultural tapestry, creating a vibrant blend of traditions and communities. Note : Malaysia is home to over 200 distinct ethnic groups and tribes, particularly in the states of Sabah and Sarawak on Borneo, as well as among the Orang Asli in Peninsular Malaysia. In Sabah and Sarawak, you can find major indigenous groups such as the Iban, Bidayuh, Kadazan-Dusun, and Murut, among many others. The Orang Asli, the indigenous people of Peninsular Malaysia, are categorized into several groups, including the Semai, Jahai, and Temuan. This rich diversity showcases Malaysia's unique cultural heritage. 📷 Andy Pua

📍 Which country should represent Malay culture and people: 🇮🇩 Indonesia or 🇲🇾 Malaysia? The largest Malay land in the world is located in Indonesia, not in Malaysia. According to the land size of total provinces/states in which Malay people are the majority people, 🇮🇩 Indonesian Malay land is twice larger than 🇲🇾 Malaysian Malay land. Indonesia is indeed the center of Malay culture and the origin of Malay culture and people. It is backed with Kedukan Bukit inscription (the oldest Malay inscription in the world found in South Sumatra, Indonesia). Modern-day Indonesia was also home to the largest Malay kingdom in history which is the Srivijaya Kingdom which was based in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. And the city of Palembang still exists until now with the same name. Meanwhile in Malaysia, many Malay people there are actually not real Malay people. Many of them are Bugis people, Minang people, Banjarese people, Javanese people who have been naturalized as "Malay people". Meanwhile Malay people in Indonesia are still pure Malay people because Indonesia doesn't count Minang, Javanese, Bugis, and Banjarese people as Malay people. ©️ SEA Metropolis
