👾𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂? We’ve got an open SDR position—fully remote within Europe🌐. No specific experience required, just nice-to-haves. We're open to anyone with a degree in Marketing, Business Management, or Communications and ready to provide internal coaching. Opportunity to work with really good leaders like Mary Pylyp and Maxim Kublitski. The product is also amazing - it sounds like a perfect opportunity to kickstart a career in sales. I’d have loved a chance like this early in my career (though maybe I’m a bit biased 😄). We posted the job on LinkedIn, expecting a flood of applications since no experience was needed. However, we ran into a challenge: without much automation in place, we needed a way to filter through potentially hundreds of candidates efficiently. After some brainstorming🧠, we decided to ask for a 🎬𝟮-𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 as a part of the application. This would not only showcase the candidate’s verbal communication skills (crucial for SDRs) but also demonstrate their motivation—recording a video takes more effort than just hitting "apply." In the job description, we made it clear: "𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴. We received 500 applications on LinkedIn in just 4 days. But… only 5 applicants followed the instructions and submitted a video presentation. 🤯 That’s 1 out of 100 who actually read the JD and took the time to apply properly. So, it got me thinking - Is it really that hard to find a job these days? Or the challenge is different: staying motivated enough to keep putting the effort into your job search? Happy Friday everyone, I could really use your help! After years in construction, real estate, healthcare and B2C/B2B sales, I’m eager to transition into tech/SaaS sales. While I've run full cycle sales in my previous roles, I'm happy to explore remote SDR positions at a company that will give me a chance. I've been applying to SDR roles in tech for a few years now with no luck. Does anyone have some time to chat about opportunities? How to not get an SDR job. I hear this a lot. "I want to work remotely" That can't be your reason for wanting to be in sales. There's loads of remote jobs out there. Working remotely as an SDR or AE is the byproduct of being good at this skill set, it's not a good motivator. You will fail miserably at this role if your only reason for doing it, is because you want to work from home.
