Very nice perspective on why sport is important in corporate life

Competing across 12 disciplines, India's athletes have truly made every Indian proud by winning a record 29 medals - 7 golds, 9 silvers, and 13 bronzes. Interestingly this performance surpassed our medal tally from Tokyo 2020, marking Paris 2024 as India's most successful Paralympics. The Indian Paralympics team truly made history at the Paris 2024 Paralympics. Alongside the regular participation, in 2024 India competed in 3 new sports – > Para-Cycling > Para Rowing > Blind Judo This expands our representation and opens doors for future talents in these categories. This isn't just a win for the winners but a lesson for many. Despite facing immense challenges, our Paralympic heroes never gave up. They showed us that with hard work, passion, and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle. In a country where athletes don't get enough funding, or support, pursuing an athletic career in itself is a struggle. However, these para-Olympians showed that they have more grit & resilience than complaints. If they can do it, why can’t we rise to the challenge too? I take this as an inspiration for Growit India & my dear Indian farmers. I am aware that the Indian agricultural industry is way behind China & USA, but we can strive for greater achievement. With the same spirit, our farmers can also achieve greatness and make our country proud with a bountiful harvest! Let’s take inspiration from our Paralympians! #paralympics #India #indianteam

Celebrate and plan for the Future... These are the words that you might have heard at some point in your lives. These words struck me once again when I saw the greetings and celebratory environment that the Indian Medal Winning Paralympics Athletes received upon their arrival in the country. Honorable Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya also announced cash awards for the athletes. It feels great when those who've struggled a lot in their lives finally reach the pedestal they truly deserve. Amidst this, we also see Indians comparing the Paralympics Training Infra. of 20 crores against the 500 crore spent on the Olympic Athletes and yet the latter faring relatively poorly. The comparison isn't right in any sense as both the competition are quite different. What instead should be noted is how the 29 medals came only from 5 sports of athletics, judo, badminton, archery and shooting. It should be noted that Paralympics have 23 competition sports in total, therefore the focus should be on increasing the number of athletes as well as resources to sports like swimming which only saw one athlete from India while it had around 140 medals on line.  While it would be wrong to expect sudden success in these other sports, yet, this can indeed become a part of "celebrate and plan for the future". . . . . #paralympics #paralympics2024 #indianparalympic #indianathletes
