Today we celebrate Children's day a day dedicated to children in memory of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birthday. He compared children to buds in a garden. What a beautiful analogy. When we see a bud , what do we feel? A bud inspires hope, represents potential and innocence and unmitigated joy.
A bud makes us happy and sparks positive thoughts with it's beauty and also creates a sense of wonder about its completeness.
As an educator, can we awaken our senses to always search for this beauty, innocence and grace in our children and discover their charm? As educators, let us everyday vow to find the perfection in our children and nurture their potential.
Let us remind ourselves that celebrating Children's Day is not about having a joyful celebration through songs, games or plays. But it is a continuous journey of nurturing our children through accelerating their curiousity, making learning student centered and fun. Find joy in their questions, wayward observations and creative antics. Let us nourish their souls to be natural, curious and original.
Let the 40 minutes in each class matter and be dedicated to celebrating our children and their potential and not merely a class to teach, complete a chapter or perform an activity.

Too often, people are hyper-focused on what’s missing, what’s not going according to plan, and what’s going wrong. But that’s a trap—it pulls attention from what’s right, who’s showing up, and all the good happening right in front of you.
Real success? It’s not about chasing what’s missing—it’s about valuing what’s right here. The people, the moments, the process. When you lock into appreciating what’s in front of you, that’s when things start to really move.
When we had Alyssa Ustby on, we gave her flowers now, right in the thick of her journey. Why wait to celebrate someone’s impact until later? Celebrating people in their prime, giving them their flowers while they’re at it—that’s the real win.
Appreciate what’s here. Focus on who’s here. The rest will come.
Today, we honor and celebrate the guiding lights in our lives – our mothers, teachers, and gurus. Their wisdom, encouragement, and support have shaped our paths and inspired us to achieve our best. Let's take a moment to express our gratitude to those who have enlightened our journeys.
