Last week, our Shanghai office was visited by our CO team Heidi Stevens, Verena Patricia Favre, Thea Hoffmann, Roland Van Os, Sven Jasper, and Tim Kutzner. They were accompanied by Otto Group executive board members Sergio Bucher, Marcus Ackermann, Kay Schiebur, as well as Otto Group CEO Alexander Birken, marking Alexander’s first visit to our Shanghai office. The leadership team met with our employees for a townhall, answering their most top-of-mind questions. They then gathered for a meeting to review our progress over the last year and discussed #strategies to further propel us towards achieving our #mission. During the trip, the Otto Group leadership team, CEO Heidi, and CFO Tim took a tour around one of our factories, learning about our #production processes firsthand. We hope that the trip was productive and fostered fruitful discussion. Thank you to the Shanghai team for organising!

Dear OI team, thanks a lot for hosting us in China last week. I always find it energising to meet our teams around the world, but the exceptionally warm and friendly welcome by the Shanghai team was the clear highlight of the trip!!!

It’s fantastic to see our senior leadership taking the time to connect with the team in Shanghai in such an open and collaborative way! This really shows how much they value the work being done on the ground and how important direct communication and mutual understanding are for working together across borders. Wow, it's great to see the Otto Group leadership team visiting your Shanghai office and taking the time to meet with employees. It's always inspiring to see top executives engaging with their teams and getting a firsthand look at the production processes.
