Today, ŌURA announced a strategic partnership with Dexcom to enable two-way data flow between Dexcom glucose biosensors and apps and Oura Ring and the Oura App, providing a first-of-its-kind metabolic health management experience. Along with the partnership, Dexcom has invested $75 million in Oura’s Series D funding, bringing Oura’s valuation to more than $5 billion. Oura’s CEO, Tom Hale joined CNBC Squawk Box this morning to discuss the partnership and what it means for Oura’s future in metabolic health. Watch the interview here: https://lnkd.in/gGf5NSBR
Curious to learn more about this partnership and how it will specifically provide insights for people with Type 1 Diabetes (Beyond Type 1 + Breakthrough T1D)
Correlating the data will be powerful! Excited to do this myself
Very interesting and exciting to see innovation like this paving the way for smarter, user-centric healthcare solutions by bridging data, insights, and actionable outcomes. Congrats on the partnership!
This is a fantastic move by ŌURA! Sleep plays a massive role in how our body regulates glucose, and seeing that impact in real-time with the combination of Dexcom data is a game-changer for making long-lasting behavioral changes that positively impact sleep and glucose regulation.
Oura is now step be step moving also into the medical sector. This is great news for preventative medicine.
This is fantastic news. I've been keeping an eye on Levels, which doesn't appear to be able to ship the CGMs to anyone outside of the US. Being a Canadian Oura user, I hope to also use a CGM. Will you be able to ship the CGMs to those of us internationally when you launch?
This collaboration not only provides a unique experience for health tracking but also strengthens ŌURA’s position in the wellness and health tech space.
As a person who lives with T1D and has been wearing both an Oura ring and Dexcom for years. I AM SO EXCITED!
