Content is Fire, and Social Media is Gasoline" 🔥 Imagine this: You’re a chef, and you’ve created a dish with flavors that could win awards. But instead of presenting it at a gourmet restaurant, you serve it at a food truck in a remote area. It doesn’t reach the people who’d appreciate it most, and it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Now, that dish is your *content.* It’s packed with value, insight, and solutions for your audience. But to get the attention it deserves, you need to serve it in the right place—and that’s where *social media* comes in. It’s the gasoline that fuels the fire, amplifying your message and extending its reach. Each platform has its unique 'palate'—LinkedIn loves professional insights and industry stories, while Instagram craves visuals and quick, inspiring messages. Now tell me: What’s your biggest content challenge? Drop it below, let’s chat and get those sparks flying! 👇 #ContentIsFire #SocialMediaStrategy #RightFuelRightFlame #GrowWithPurpose #riyikemediagirl #socialmediastrategist

Eating is a form of marketing and here’s why. . . . . Think about it: Last week saturday after I was done with my chores, I was too tired to cook so I decided to order my favorite meal from a restaurant close to my house The customer service was great The delivery was fast The food was nice that it really touched my pain point In essence, i became an advocate for that brand, encouraging my friends to try it too. What if the opposite had happened??? Every bite you take, every meal you share, and every restaurant or brand you support sends a message. Food connects us, tells a story, and often becomes a platform for branding. 1. Social Sharing: We’re in the age of food photos. Sharing a beautifully crafted dish on social media can spark interest in a restaurant or cuisine 2. Experiences Over Products: When we eat at a restaurant with ambiance and a memorable meal, we carry that experience with us, take pictures and even share it with others. 3. Word of Mouth: The oldest form of marketing! When you tell a friend about an amazing dish, you’re endorsing that brand. A single positive mention can have a ripple effect, reaching people who trust your taste. In every meal, there’s an opportunity for connection, brandbuilding, and storytelling. Next time you sit down for a meal, think about the story it’s telling. Comment if you resonate with this Not my image o #Marketing #FoodBranding #PersonalBranding #SocialMediaMarketing #MarketingTips

Great Food, Great Friends, and Some Marketing Insight! 🌶️🍔 Recently, I had the chance to catch up with friends at Chillis, and it got me thinking—what makes a restaurant experience so memorable? It’s more than just the food (though that was amazing!). It’s the entire experience. Just like in marketing, it’s the combination of elements that creates lasting impact: - Consistency in messaging: Just like the consistent flavors and quality Chili’s is known for, your brand message needs to stay consistent across channels. - Understanding your audience: Chili’s knows exactly who its audience is and crafts its menu and ambiance around that. The same goes for marketing—knowing your audience helps tailor your strategy. - Creating a connection: The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. In marketing, building genuine connections with your audience is key to long-term loyalty. This visit reminded me that marketing is all about creating an experience—whether through content, social media, or campaigns—that resonates with your audience and leaves a lasting impression. 🍽️ 👉 What about you? Have you ever had a memorable experience at a restaurant or a place that taught you a valuable marketing lesson? Share your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear your insights! #MarketingLessons #BrandExperience #CustomerConnection #DigitalStrategy #GrowWithPalash

Can I be honest for a moment? I was in the restaurant industry for over a decade! Food is my life blood. The one thing that makes me so sad about food related social media content is that it does not give power to the chefs & small business owners. I had a call with a restaurant owner, and they said this, "The influencers who cover our restaurant is always about them. We are left out of the video, and become another restaurant. Our story is not told." I created this documentary as a result to the phone call. It is an observational documentary that sheds lights on the working dynamic between a husband & wife who run a Portland pizzeria. As a director, my goal was to humanize the Turning Peel because Candy & Akshay are very sweet business owners. I believe my production company can revolutionize the way we create food centered media by making it human centered. Cheers to more! Between The Two - Teaser - https://lnkd.in/gytYskJx
