Maintaining a healthy lawn during the #summer can be challenging due to higher temperatures and potentially less rainfall. 💧 Having a watering schedule is important to ensure consistent moisture levels for your lawn, which promotes healthy growth. 🌱 Leaving grass clippings on the lawn can be beneficial as they decompose and return valuable nutrients, like nitrogen, back into the soil. ☀ Setting the mower to a higher setting helps to shade the soil, retain moisture, and encourage deeper root growth. #commerciallandscape #summertips #lawntips

🌳💧 Tips for Effective Watering Practices A healthy, vibrant lawn starts with proper watering techniques. Follow these simple tips to keep your grass lush and green all season long: 🌱 Water Early: Mornings are the best time to water, reducing evaporation and preventing fungal issues. 💧 Deep, Infrequent Watering: Water thoroughly but less often to promote deep root growth and a drought-resistant lawn. 📏 Use a Rain Gauge: Ensure your lawn gets 1-1.5 inches of water per week. Adjust based on rainfall to avoid overwatering, which can be just as damaging. By adopting these smart watering practices, you’ll conserve water and build a stronger, healthier lawn. 🌿 Want expert help? It’s getting cold, friends 🥶 Now is the time for us to get prepared for winter, and that includes our plants 🪴 If you are plant parents like us, here are some tips to keep our green family healthy and happy during autumn, preparing them for the colder months ahead 👇 Fertilise wisely: Reduce fertilising as plants slow down for the season. Use a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser with less nitrogen. Prune and groom: Trim away dead leaves and stems to encourage new growth and improve air circulation. Watch out for pests: Inspect your plants for unwanted guests like spider mites, aphids, or mealybugs. If needed, use natural remedies like insecticidal soap or neem oil. Boost humidity: Drier air from heating systems can harm plants. Increase humidity with water trays or misting. Water less: Cooler weather means less growth, so water only when the top inch of soil feels dry. Remember proper drainage to avoid root rot. Lighten up: Move plants closer to windows for more natural light, or use artificial lights if needed. Watch for signs your plants are stretching towards the light. Mind the temperature: To maintain a stable environment, keep plants away from drafts, radiators, and air conditioners. Thanks for the great tips InDaily and happy planting, coworkérs 💜 #machecoworking #coworking #coworkingadelaide #coworkingcommunity #coworkingspace #plantlovers #autumnvibes

🌿 CORING 🌿 Improves Air Circulation: Coring creates holes in the soil, allowing air to penetrate deeper, which helps grass roots breathe and promotes healthier growth. Enhances Water Absorption: The holes created by coring facilitate better water infiltration, reducing runoff and ensuring that water reaches the root zone more effectively. Reduces Compaction: Regular coring alleviates soil compaction, which can hinder root development and nutrient uptake. This leads to a more resilient and vibrant lawn. Promotes Nutrient Exchange: By breaking up thatch and soil layers, coring allows for improved access to nutrients in the soil, supporting overall lawn health and encouraging thicker, greener grass. 👉 Lawns that receive regular coring are easier to mow as they are less dense and can save up to 50% on watering costs due to a quicker absorption rate. #landscaping #lawncare #lawn #lawnhealth #lawngoals #soil #soilhealth
