3 months ago, this leader struggled with feelings of anger, fear, anxiety, and overwhelm. Here's some of what they are doing now. They are the example of the power of coaching. Today we had session 4 of 6 and they are being the leader they hoped they could be, and hungry for more - here's some of what they explained: I am much more intentional with planning my day. The first hour is prioritised for visiting my staff members and as a result I know them much better on a human level. Before, if I asked for a coffee with my staff, they would be skeptical and expecting that I wanted something, or had bad news, and I have seen that skepticism change into trust. I've noticed that people are now going out of their way to help me if I need support. I can feel that they feel safe and are not scared to speak about their mistakes, they come to me and they know that we'll work through it. I've realised I'm ready to step up into the next level of leadership, and I'm challenging myself in many other areas, which feels great. Now we're focussing on structuring and systemising the habits that keep them performing at their best, which feels like joy, confidence and presence, whilst succeeding across their roles in life, so that it becomes a way of being. Did you know we work with leaders to develop great leadership and teams to develop emotionally intelligent high performing teams? If you want a chat about it, let me know. Have a great day, on purpose. #joy #confidence #powerofcoaching

Some sobering statistics for leaders. 0.1% of leaders have a vision for their organisation or for their own lives (Dr. Oleg Konovalov) 80% well-being comes from what we do (Gallup) 70% don’t like their work (Psychology Association) Where to start to close these gaps? It always has to start within yourself. You need to dare dreaming, believing & be you. Work on yourself for generative power. Have the guts to bring others along. Paint your vision for both your life & business. Do detective work for your purpose. Build on your past & aim for the future. While never forgetting the here & now. Enhance your awareness of self & others. Nurture your self-command. And you’ll peak performance & happiness for many. Grow your sharing power by working with others. Always welcome multiple perspectives so that you & your colleagues gain precious knowledge. This counters group-thinking, biases & heuristics. And you’ll improve the quality of your decisions. Never forget: "Life is not a place we live but a path we take." (Oleg Konovalov) Getting intrigued? Setting intentions with holistic leadership isn't just about goals; it's about aligning purpose, values, and actions for meaningful impact. Here's how you can put it into practice as a business leader: 🎯 Define Your Purpose: Clarify your “why” and how it aligns with the greater good, inspiring your team to share in this vision. 💡 Embrace Values-Based Decision-Making: Make choices that reflect your core values, fostering trust, integrity, and authenticity. 🤝 Foster Collaboration and Inclusivity: Create an environment where diverse voices are heard, valued, and included in decision-making processes. 🌱 Prioritize Well-being: Support your team's holistic well-being through wellness initiatives, stress management, and mental health support. 🌟 Lead by Example: Demonstrate holistic leadership through actions that promote empathy, resilience, and continuous learning. As professionals or leaders, we rely on the analytical mind to steer us through the day. It does its job well. Too well, most of the time. I notice it frequently in my clients: their analytical mind is ‘always on’, trying to figure it all out. The problem? It’s an impossible task, and leaves you feeling overwhelmed and distracted. When your brain is in overdrive, you disconnect. You’re no longer leading at your best. Sure, that hyper-analytical mode helps in a crisis—but most days aren’t crises. Yet, your brain sometimes tricks you into thinking they are. Leadership requires a balance. It’s about knowing when to use IQ and when to lean on EQ. 💎 The mind and the heart. So, give your analytical mind some slack. Start with: ✔️ Slow down and reconnect with your heart. Just a few breaths can work magic. ✔️ Give yourself a break. It's not your job to solve every problem today. ✔️ Smile, even if you don’t feel like it. Let it go. Whatever it is, LET IT GO so that you can reconnect. ♻️ Repost if you believe this could inspire someone today. --- 👋 I'm Gudrun Lind, the founder of Thrive REimagined. YOU CAN BE A GREAT LEADER AND A BRILLIANT MUM. Sometimes we fall into the trap of thinking that the best leaders are the ones who: work the longest hours know the most focus hardest on improving weaknesses and are always seeking the spotlight But what if being a great leader is about: - Helping other people figure out what they are great at and letting them shine - Celebrating successes, focusing on building confidence and finding solutions - Asking questions and coaching instead of sharing opinions or always having the last word - Seeking feedback and making changes - Parenting out loud - making it ok for others to do the same. -Role modelling flexibility and a good work life blend. When we compare ourselves and our skills. We often compare with people who are in a different phase in their life and career. We also hold a lot of myths, beliefs and stereotypes about management and leadership. As you can see from the feedback - having someone to help you bust myths, explore your beliefs and collect better evidence - along with practicing a bit of self compassion goes a long long way. That’s why the INSIDE leadership includes 1:1 coaching and plenty of space for group discussion and self reflection between each module. #LeadershipCoaching #MumsInConstruction #WomenInConstruction

When you hear the phrase “Compassionate Leadership” do you also find yourself thinking: “Yes, great idea. But honestly, I’m doing as much as I can already!”? You’re exhausted, frustrated, spread too thinly. Under-supported. Disillusioned. Burned out. So, you’re wondering how on earth it’s possible? What if I let you know a secret? The root of Compassionate Leadership is Self-compassion. You need to start with yourself, so you have the resources to lead. Self-compassion takes NO time, and it will help you to help yourself to serve better. It’s a secret skill. You don’t need to advertise it to your colleagues! (They will start to wonder what your secret is, though!) Using my framework, I help you to understand first the INNER changes that you can easily make now. These lead you to handling PRESSURE better, and understanding Boundaries (and how to communicate them) as well as seeing your leadership role in a fresh context. This work will help you to feel more excited about leadership, have more influence, and protect yourself from burnout. Do you and your team need some help? Message me. I can help. #selfcompassion #compassionateleadership #leadershipcoaching

Burnout builds up over time, and as a leader, stepping in early can make all the difference ...Today I coached a leader inside The Leadership Clinic whose team was struggling with stress and overwhelm. They were constantly busy, yet progress felt stuck. Sound familiar? Here’s how we turned things around: 👉 Proactive leadership: We worked on shifting from firefighting to creating an environment that prevents stress and burnout. 👉 Clear priorities and boundaries: Using templates and tools from The Leadership Clinic, the leader now has a framework to help their team focus on high-value tasks and set manageable goals. 👉 Balancing support with accountability: Structured check-ins and open conversations empower the team to manage workloads effectively while feeling supported ...not micromanaged. With the right tools, weekly coaching, and a plan in place, this leader is already creating a healthier, more productive team culture. If you’re a leader juggling productivity and well-being in your team, The Leadership Clinic is here to help. Let’s chat about how it can work for you. #LeadershipDevelopment #BurnoutPrevention #TheLeadershipClinic
