Sunday thoughts over a coffee ☕ Termius is an exceptional tool for managing machines using #Terminal commands. I frequently use it due to its lightweight nature, excellent user interface, and seamless transition between desktop and mobile versions. This versatility is particularly advantageous for those who need to access their machines from various locations. I have been using Termius for over a year now, and it has effectively replaced #Mobaxterm, although I acknowledge that they serve different purposes. I am particularly impressed by its incorporation of #AI, which simplifies specific commands and offers valuable assistance to both beginners and intermediate users. This is especially beneficial when dealing with diverse environments that require variations in command syntax. It is important to note that while AI enhances efficiency in system administration, it does not replace human involvement! It would be cool addition an integration of #contextual #memory for managed machines, allowing the AI-generated commands to be tailored to individual situations. Currently, the commands are somewhat generic, however, they remain valuable and require skillful processing to obtain optimal results. I have checked on Perplexity for Termius AI features alternatives. Never tried any Windows Powershell or cmd extentions. Anyone have experience with those? Mr. Satya Nadela's recent interview decoded on the future of SaaS applications. 🫸 🫸🫸 Summary of our interest: AI Agents will replace the applications which are only doing CRUD operations by setting up an UI and querying backend database. Agent AI will be doing the same with multiplied effectiveness by querying multiple databases at the same time, collating results, analyze what you need and take further actions on the retrieved data set, that too with a natural language understanding. For example: a requirement for a report, you need not to know the technicalities, fill a form or write a piece of code, fetch the data, study the chart and send emails to your top 5 customers. All these will be done by the AI Agent, if you just tell the agent what you need. Perhaps we will not see this happening till the time LLMs figure out a way NOT TO hallucinate.
