Excited to share our latest work presented at CoRL 2024 Workshop WCBM "The Role of Domain Randomization in Training Diffusion Policies for Whole-Body Humanoid Control" This research explores how diffusion policies and domain randomization can enhance robust humanoid locomotion. Using synthetic demonstrations in simulated environments (IsaacGym) and conducting detailed ablation studies, we analyzed the impact of dataset size and diversity on policy performance. Our findings bring us closer to bridging the gap between simulation and real-world humanoid applications. I had the privilege of attending an insightful online workshop on "Fast and Accurate Molecular Docking with MzDOCK" organized by “PharmaGenDRx”on November 17, 2024 and successfully received a certificate of completion. This workshop provided a comprehensive understanding of molecular docking, a computer-based method used to anticipate how two molecules, like a drug and a protein, will interact with each other. This workshop covered the principles of molecular docking, hands-on demonstrations, and best practices to enhance docking accuracy and speed. Updated course "Advanced Quality Assurance in Modern Radiotherapy" at Pius-Hospital in Oldenburg, Germany with proven local support from Bjoern Poppe and Tenzin Stelljes and participants from Germany, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Egypt and Iraq! Our long-standing, successful course with over 25 sessions since it started on patient-specific QA has been relaunched. The course was updated to include the latest developments and methods such as MC-based calculations and EPID dosimetry, and for the first time included hands-on demonstrations of VERIQA modules, including VERIQA MonteCarlo 3D and VERIQA RT EPID 3D. Our attendees were excited to be able to compare patient plan verification using three different methods from a single source. Appearing in ICML 2024, Shitong Luo, Wenhao Gao, Zuofan Wu, et al. show dramatic improvements to the performance of synthesizability-constrained deep generative models with a model we colloquially call "ChemProjector": https://lnkd.in/dWa-Mbfj There are direct quantitative improvements over our prior work in this area, SynNet (https://lnkd.in/d2Nuf2Aw), and new demonstrations, including an example of using ChemProjector to find close (synthesizable) analogs of molecules proposed by Pocket2Mol which does not itself consider synthetic tractability.
