Started today, officially, the Fic-fighters Project, with kick-off meeting in Seville, Spain. During four years 28 entities from 9 european countries will be working together on the topic of valorization and transformation of dangerous materials.The Municipality of Barreiro will be one of the 7 case studies, along with six other countries – Croatia, Belgium, Serbia, Poland, North Macedonia and Italy, which will, in addition to providing the material and its characterization, validate and test the methodologies and technologies to be developed under this important European research project, for the recovery of environmental liabilities and the recovery and transformation of hazardous waste for use as raw material in other industries, thus, also, promoting the circular economy. #ficfighters #h2020 #europeancommission #kickoffmeeting #seville #municipalityofbarreiro

The President of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbien) and the Director of ZF Serbia, Mr Milan Grujic, emphasized in an interview with Bloomberg Adria that 'German companies in Serbia are leading in the implementation of sustainable business practices, actively contributing to reducing the carbon footprint of products in order to make them more environmentally friendly and minimize their impact on the environment.' The German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce believes that Serbia can be competitive in sustainable business practices, especially because 'German companies, such as ZF Serbia, have more ambitious goals and plans than those set by the EU' according to Grujić.
