The European Commission and #EASA have updated the Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) for Israel issued on September 28, 2024. The revised CZIB recommends air operators to implement a stringent monitoring process and risk assessment for each flight when intending to operate within the airspace of Israel. The recommendation is valid until October 31, 2024  and can be reviewed earlier and adapted or withdrawn subject to the revised assessment. EASA will continue to closely monitor the situation, with a view to assess whether there is an increase or decrease of risks for #EU aircraft operators as a result of the evolution of the threat. Further developments in the Middle East. EASA updated the CZIB about the airspace of Israel. This changes comes after just 2 weeks, yet the developments are more dynamic. Hence the importance to review, fine-tune and adjust mitigation measures and contingency planning.

In that context, the European Commission and EASA have decided to issue CZIBs recommending not to operate within the airspaces of Lebanon and Israel at all flight levels.
