M-CELL: Hybrid fabrication with a Robot by Luis Arturo Pacheco, instructor of the upcoming “Parametric Workflows with Blender: Animating Robots for Digital Fabrication” workshop on January 11 - 12, 2025. Register Now: Tap the 🔗 link: https://lnkd.in/e8N6Z5_y This workshop will explore several digital fabrication workflows using Blender. It will begin by introducing the fundamentals of Blender’s interface and navigation to ensure all participants are comfortable with the software environment. We’ll set up a workspace tailored for digital fabrication tasks and familiarize ourselves with Blender. We will export some manually generated toolpaths to get conformable with blender’s main interface. Next, we’ll delve into Geometry Nodes, Blender’s powerful system for procedural and parametric modeling. We’ll explore how node-based workflows can generate toolpaths, and we’ll practice creating toolpaths for drawing and cutting applications using plotters and CNC machines. 📑 Topic: Parametric Workflows with Blender: Animating Robots for Digital Fabrication 📅 Date: January 11 - 12, 2025 🕕 Time: 14:00 – 18:00 GMT ⚒️ Software: Blender, Tissue add-on 🧑🏼🎓 Total Seats: 50 seats 🛒 15% Discount for Digital Members. #parametricdesign #computationaldesign #architecturestudents #formgeneration #blender #digitalfabrication #animating
