Recently, I had the opportunity to work with a client on creating a sales funnel and automation for their online course in GHL. One of the biggest lessons I learned from this project was the importance of clear communication, even when things don't make sense initially. It's essential to ask questions and seek clarity from the client until you fully understand the requirements and expectations. Despite the initial challenges in comprehending the client's vision, I remained dedicated and committed to delivering a successful outcome. I asked probing questions, sought clarification, and ensured that I had a solid grasp of the project's objectives before proceeding. Through this experience, I realized that effective communication is the cornerstone of a successful freelancer-client relationship. It fosters trust, alignment, and ultimately, a satisfactory outcome for both parties. To my fellow freelancers, I cannot emphasize enough the significance of putting your all into every project you undertake. Approach each task with dedication, professionalism, and a willingness to go the extra mile. Even when faced with ambiguity or confusion, do not hesitate to communicate openly with your clients. Seek clarification, ask questions, and ensure that you fully understand their requirements before proceeding. By combining unwavering dedication with clear communication, you not only increase the chances of delivering exceptional work but also build a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy freelancer. This, in turn, can lead to more opportunities and a successful career in the gig economy. One of the biggest challenges for freelancers to work with any company is the gatekeepers these organizations have at every level of the hierarchy. They won't really understand what 'value' you have to offer. They won't know how to use your skills. They might not be the initiative taker who can convince the company to work with freelancers, or they don't have the authority to decide on that. Worst, they might even see you as a threat. No matter what, don't hate these gatekeepers because then you will be so full of hatred as they constitute a majority :) Rather learn to empathize, tolerate, and be patient. The point is that the online coaches who sell you the idea of freelancing will not share the dark side of it (maybe purposefully, or maybe they don't see it like this). But this is a reality. I feel that the freelancing market has an oversupply; clearly, outpacing the demand. As a result, many freelancers are losing leverage and finding it difficult to negotiate favorable terms for their work. That's why if you are weak at communication, marketing, networking, or negotiation then freelancing is not for you. You need to be exceptionally good at the services you offer as a freelancer AND be better than average at communication and networking AND/OR be exceptionally lucky to always have a good influx of leads. #gatekeepers #freelancing #challenges #communication #networking #marketing 🔊 🔊

A lot of Freelancers didn't think they could attend. This blew my mind, as I have always viewed Freelancers are enterpenuers who are running a business. There are 1.89 million freelancers in the UK. Each one of them is running their own company - yet do not call themselves a founder.
