🔍 Seeking Physician Assistants to Mentor for PAthways Program! I am excited to announce a unique opportunity for licensed PAs to make a lasting impact through the PAthways initiative, a program by #AAPA and the #PAFoundation, supported by a grant from Pfizer. We seek mentors to guide and inspire pre-PA students at minority-serving institutions (MSIs). About PAthways: This initiative aims to foster diversity within the PA profession by: Raising awareness and interest among early college students at MSIs. Providing mentorship and shadowing opportunities for seniors and recent graduates of color interested in pursuing PA school. Eligibility: Licensed PAs engaged in clinical practice, research, or academic placement. PAs from historically marginalized communities are especially encouraged to apply. Selected mentors will receive a one-time stipend. We need 4-5 mentors near the following MSIs: Howard University (Washington, DC) Fayetteville State University (Fayetteville, NC) Rutgers University-Newark (Newark, NJ) Baruch College/City University of New York (New York, NY) Learn More & Apply: Scan or click the QR code in the attached flyer.
