Can generative AI decrease provider workload? I suspect it will someday but not if we just graft it onto inefficient systems already in place. Provider inboxes have become larger and larger with more time devoted to responding. While they want to provide the best care for their patients, the challenge of the extra work cloud is contributing to burn out. Here, although the depth of responses were better – no time savings at all, despite integration into EPIC. Good to see studies being done and ultimately through these types of projects will understand how to improve. #EPIC #EHR #physicianBurnout https://lnkd.in/e52X_5mw
