Summer’s over… but now is the perfect time to start planning your 2025 festival sponsorship strategy From Leeds to Latitude, Bestival to Boardmasters, the UK is home to the world’s most-loved summer festivals. Whether its Glastonbury that gets your toes tapping or Isle of Wight that puts a song in your heart, there’s no question that the sector offers a huge array of sponsorship opportunities for brands of all shapes and sizes. Summer 2024’s roll call of festival sponsors underlines the point, with high-profile brand partners including Vodafone, JD Sports, Co-op, L’Oreal, Uber and Land Rover Defender among others. But as with all areas of sponsorship there are sector-specific nuances that need to be taken into account. Here are a few factors brands need to consider if they want to get the best out of this dynamic and constantly-evolving arena. Read more here..https://lnkd.in/etADDYSj

Since it is Friday, I wanted to do one of those "I have so many new connections here, I probably should re-introduce myself" posts. But figured I don't have the inspiration for it. It happens. So instead, here is some throwback photo which is very close to my heart 🩷 PS : Yes, we also do afterparties at events we attend or work on. They usually tend to be amazing 😆 #afterparty #conventa #meetingstar #winner #eventindustry #eventfreelance #eventmanagement #eventoperations #freelance #femaleleaders #careermentoring #mentoring #music #business #sustainability #experience #career #management #environment #festival #event #femaleentrepreneurs #womeninbusiness #womenentrepreneurs

In my experience, even at my age, I can say that I spent my life in the world of events and sponsorships. And I can say one thing, there is one factor that all sponsors have in common when they are present at events such as musical festivals, fairs, conventions, conferences. The factor is. When it comes to a brand that wants to reach the public present at the event, both directly and indirectly it is to reach the public's TOP OF MIND, that is, what comes first in their mind, which also, with a lot of CREATIVITY and brand action that personally entertain the public. The Brand need to be not only in the head but also in the heart... In the sponsorship sector, there is "Naming rights", which involves associating that landmark event with a company, as was the case with SKOL SENSATION. Skol having a naming right for one of the biggest electronic events in the world, is an example of top of mind towards the public. You can ask any Brazilian if you've heard of it or if it was at Sensation or Skol Sensation. Everyone will say the 2nd option. For those who love events, both organizing and marketing, think outside the box and use your CREATIVITY abundantly.

No one thinks of the Audio / Visual of an event until something goes wrong. I've personally felt the pain of hearing the screeching feedback or the awkward silence when the video feed doesn't work. It kills the experience. That's why you need great execution and someone you can trust. Shane Fine is a master. He started Phase 3 AV out of high school and has been running the AV and renting equipment for big concerts, experiential events and even small venues for 20+ years. He's a stickler for quality. It's the exact personality trait you want. He's more comfortable behind the scenes running the show than he is at sales or being the face of his company, which is why he relies on us at Crew Marketing Partners to help him promote and create leads. It's a great partnership. If you need an AV company you can trust. Reach out to Shane and Phase 3 AV. You'll be blown away.

What does music have to do with professional life? For me, absolutely everything. 🎶🎤👩🏻💻 Recently, I participated in my very first music competition, organized by a renowned Italian institution. It was a transformative experience that took me all the way to the semifinals. Since I was a child, I’ve sung in church, but for many years, music had been silent in my life. Then I decided to take a bold step and challenge myself: to enter an international competition, with no formal singing lessons and no technical training. It was intense, emotional, and challenging. Hearing the judges say that I have passion, that I can transmit emotions and touch people through my interpretation, was such a gift. But I also heard that I lack something: technique. And they were right. Technique is something I’ve never had the opportunity to learn because the conditions were never there. This experience taught me so much about my personal and professional journey. We don’t always start with all the resources or skills we need, but that shouldn’t stop us from trying. Passion and dedication are powerful, but true growth happens when we acknowledge our limitations and work to overcome them. Just like in music, in our careers, we must combine what we already have — our essence, authenticity, and passion — with what we can learn and improve. Technique is a tool, and I’m ready to learn. I’m currently looking for new job opportunities because I know that, with the experience I already have and my determination to grow, I can give my best and keep improving every step of the way. This experience strengthened my determination: no matter how far you feel you are, it’s always worth taking the next step. And I’m ready for it — in music, in work, and in life. How about you? When was the moment you decided to face a challenge even when you weren’t 100% prepared? Let’s talk! *Feel free to like and comment on this post to help me reach more people and create meaningful connections. Thank you!* 🫶🏼☀️ #opentowork #igaming #englishspeaker #networking #brazilianportuguesespeaker #brazilianspeaker #carrers #Malta #europe #recruting #recruiter #customersupport #junioraffiliatemanager

Last week I unlocked a new skill by delivering an extensive set of product videos for Lockly's US market (filmed in Hong Kong). I was asked to send my portfolio of shoots/videos across to the potential client, but I at this stage I had no portfolio given this was my first outing in this field. Instead, I worked hard to memorise parts of the script and sent in a sample video, a few days later I was cast and last Friday I executed. 3 points to this post 1 - Let someone else decide if you're qualified or not, give YOURSELF the opportunity at least. 2 - Many, many hours of creating and delivering content for Rugbytots Hong Kong and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) resulted in a strong execution of a new task. But I was a complete amateur a few years ago, there isn't a task on earth where someone doesn't start out incompetent. Being amateur at something right now, could lead to opportunities down the line if the reps are put in AND those skills are probably transferable. 3 - If anyone wants a male to deliver for product videos them, send me a DM 😂 P.S. thoughts on the slippers? No shoes on set and I was handed these beauties!
