🎥 Behind the scenes: The creation of the G-ONE At the end of 2024, we at GDV celebrated an important milestone with the inauguration of the G-ONE mega-battery, a project that not only represents a breakthrough in electric mobility, but also the result of the hard work and dedication of many people. 🌍   Although only a few of our colleagues appear in the video - Óscar Bárcenas (Co-Founder & CPO), Germán Agulló (Co-Founder & CEO), Ernesto García Rodríguez (Head of Partnerships), Héctor Arana Balluerca (Co-Founder GDV) and jose serna serrano (Head of Recycling) - behind this great initiative is a multidisciplinary team committed to sustainability, innovation and the future of mobility.   Every step, from the initial ideas to the final presentation, has been possible thanks to the collaboration and joint effort of all those involved. 💡   🔧 Teamwork, commitment and a shared vision have been fundamental to making this project a reality.   What do you think of G-One? My first full year at Adigital has been nothing short of amazing. Working with companies of all types, from small product startups to big data centers. From discussing AI standardization processes with big techs to how to prepare for the EU AI Act with scaleups. From writing press articles about responsible AI to implementing a moral parliament with AI agents in LangChain. And, of course, continuing our work with the certification in transparency and, going even further, having the chance to lead an incredible project with big-time partners in Latin America and the Caribbean. Now, with some increased responsibilities within the association in the technology and operational sides, the challenges are huge but the energy is higher than ever - though I will definitely appreciate some time off during these holidays ;) Nothing of this would be possible without the top talent in the team. I learn everyday from my colleagues, experts in regulation, advocacy, communication, video editing, marketing, finance, technology and design, data, innovation, … , without the partners and collaborators that help us in the process, and without the professionals within fhe company members that work along with us. 2025 starts strong: Spanish AI sandbox finally announced, work continues on the code of practice for GPAIs in the EU, the CEN/CENELEC harmonized standards, or the Spanish specification for energy efficiency and AI, upcoming trips to LATAM and Brussels and lots of related technical work around them, the amazing advancements with the new upcoming models and the inflated expectations at the same time… and my usual digressions about deeper aspects of AI from ethical or philosophical standpoints. In the meantime, happy holidays to all of you… AI agents included (just in case)! PS. Thanks Chema Alonso for your insights on the deployment of IPv6, always from a cybersecurity perspective…or should I say from a hacker point of view? 😉. And a huge thanks to all the other participants who shared their experiences and knowledge about implementing IPv6 networks. We learned a lot! We covered a wide range of topics, from Kubernetes IPv6 networking to the initiatives being pushed in various countries to get ISPs and companies on the IPv6 train. We even discussed the challenges and benefits of deploying IPv6 in complex and important networks like those of Telefonica and Meta, which was extremely interesting. If you have the chance to take a look at the presentations, do it. These are the kinds of events I truly appreciate, as they reinforce my belief that at Cloudflare we are helping to build a better internet and we're not doing it alone, but through collaboration with companies and organizations like the IPv6 Council.
