There have been updates and reforms to cybersecurity frameworks like the Essential Eight, SOCI, CPS, and the Privacy Act, along with the unveiling of the 2023-2030 Australian Cybersecurity Strategy. Moreover, the advent of generative AI technology has added another layer of complexity to the cybersecurity landscape. Australian cybersecurity leaders are now grappling with these challenges despite budgetary constraints, resource gap, lack of buy-in, and organisational silos. Join Arctic Wolf’s Steve Hunter as he welcomes Forrester’s Jinan Budge for a webinar that will explore the ways Australian organisations’ security and risk strategies need to change to better address the modern threat landscape. Hot topic but many are getting this completely wrong. AI vs AI is already here, we see threats being generated by AI and used in attacks which current gen programs cannot #prevent and they slip right through. There is still far too much emphasis on "managing" cyber events, where will people wake up and start preventing them before they happen? When will the emphasis on EDR solutions shift from being the focal point to being part of a balanced stack where the EDR/XDR is augmenting a prevention based solution? We used an EDR, one of the best and most modular I have every played with, but it's augmenting the prevention solution we have in place. This cuts down on duplicated alerts and allows us to build what we specifically want detected and responded to (hence why we love the modular aspect). The masses will keep pushing their products and touting it has AI, but that AI is about as empowered as a loss prevention agent in a big-box store. It's allow to watch and report but it cannot do anything. Break from the masses, look at #prevention and #deeplearning. There's only one company that has been perfecting that level of AI for endpoint, they have at least a 10 year head start on everyone and it's why when independently validated they had an efficacy of 99.8%. You can be secure, we can help you.
