Federal Employees: Your Support Can Make a Difference! As a federal employee, you have the power to make an impact—especially when it comes to giving back. This year, consider choosing K-9 Caring Angels as your charity of choice. The work of K-9 Caring Angels is a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion. By pairing service dogs with veterans and first responders, the organization offers more than just emotional support. It provides a chance for healing, reconnection, and a life filled with hope. For veterans and first responders, these four-legged angels are not just companions—they’re a lifeline. Through their unwavering loyalty and support, the dogs help their handlers rebuild lives, restore relationships, and reclaim their purpose. For so many, K-9 Caring Angels is offering much more than a service dog—it’s offering a path to healing and a brighter future.

"I don’t know if this was your experience, but as a child, I remember waking up on Christmas morning to a tree lit with colorful lights and a few gifts waiting underneath. The excitement, the laughter—it was pure magic. But for so many families in our community, this moment doesn’t exist." Here at BOSS, we meet parents who spend sleepless nights worrying, not about what they’ll give their kids for the holidays, but if they’ll have a warm place to sleep or enough to eat. We meet kids who only know the holidays as another day of hardship without the joy, hope, and love that so many of us treasure. That’s why we created the Adopt A Family: Hope for the Holiday Drive—because everyone deserves to feel the magic of the season and to know they’re seen, valued, and supported. When you participate, you’re not just giving gifts—you’re giving hope. You’re showing a parent that they’re not alone. You’re reminding a child that they matter. This holiday season, let’s ensure that every family feels the warmth of community and the joy of the season. Whether you adopt a family, make a donation, or volunteer, your kindness can light up someone’s holiday. 📩 Learn how to get involved: https://lnkd.in/ggNpJmCe Let’s be the reason someone smiles this holiday season. #AdoptAFamily #HopeForTheHolidays #BOSSCommunity #HolidayGiving

I love supporting small businesses and especially those who give back Today I would like to introduce you to Maggie van Galen Maggie is an award winning children’s book author as well as an entrepreneur with a writing service helping others ‘find their words’. She likes to say, “words are my gig!” From now through May 1st, 15% of proceeds from all of Maggie’s children’s books will be donated to Canines for Disabled Kids. Canines for Disabled Kids increases independence for children with disabilities and their families by promoting service dog partnerships, understanding, and awareness throughput the community. 🐶 ❤️ So why not give a beautiful book and give back this holiday season? Maggie will even personalize and sign your book to your gift recipient 📚 The King’s Day Out book series is designed to be a resource for all children, families, therapists and pediatric medical professionals. These books provide concrete examples of common tools used to support children at home, in the classroom and in the world. 📚Keeno & Ernest Series are heartwarming stories that tell the tales of two best friends navigating the adventures of life in the jungle. Keeno, a mischievous monkey, seems to always go against the advise of his best friend, a wise young elephant, Ernest, only to find himself in trouble. Follow the adventures as Keeno ends up in great danger and relies on Ernest to rescue him. In the end, Keeno learns some very valuable life lessons. 📚Here is the link for more details and to make your purchase. https://lnkd.in/es83N4yk *Purchases must be made through Maggie’s website, in order to track donations #childrensbookauthor #supportacause #helpingchildren #givingback #caninesfordisabledkids #possibilities
