Is Coaching Your Next Big Step? Here's How to Begin Your Journey Starting a coaching career can be incredibly rewarding, but it requires deliberate and thoughtful steps. Here's how you can make it happen, with a glimpse into my own journey: 1️⃣ Define Your Niche What fuels your passion—leadership, career transitions, wellness, or relationships? Finding your focus helps you reach the right audience. I began with career coaching and later pivoted to leadership coaching, finding my stride as I honed my craft. 2️⃣ Get Certified Accredited programs like ICF provide the foundation for coaching skills and credibility. I took a slow but steady approach, completing my ICF certifications and 500+ hours of coaching over two years. 3️⃣ Start Within Your Network Offer free or low-cost sessions to friends or colleagues to gain experience and collect testimonials. My biggest thanks go to the colleagues and team members who trusted me to guide them through their challenges—it was invaluable. 4️⃣ Build Your Brand Share your voice online, create content, and be authentic about who you are and what you offer. For me, my podcast has been both a creative outlet and a way to connect meaningfully with others. 5️⃣ Never Stop Growing Coaching is a continuous learning process. Stay curious and open to feedback. I’m now learning from greats like Brené Brown, Jim Collins, and Marshall Goldsmith to deepen my understanding and skills. Coaching isn’t just a career—it’s a way to help others unlock their potential. I’ve been fortunate to share this journey through my podcast, Transition Story, where guests like Lila Andrea Chaudhuri, MGSCC, ICF-PCC Advance Hogan Assessment, Coaching Across Cultures have shared valuable insights about growth and transformation. The first step is often the hardest, but it can also be the most transformative—for you and those you coach. Thinking about starting your own coaching journey? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 👇 #CoachingJourney #LeadershipDevelopment #CareerGrowth #TransitionStory

Building your brand is so important. Your brand is like a high interest account. Pay in once and you don't have much. Pay in daily over a few years and you'll have a LOT of brand equity. Loved the post Pamela Kundu 🇮🇳 ✨
