Alongside Apollo Agriculture commitment to providing timely, quality inputs to smallholder farmers in Kenya and Zambia, we ensure that these farmers are well-equipped with essential agronomy knowledge in areas such as land preparation, planting procedures, nutrition, pest management, harvesting, and post-harvest management. This is facilitated through our demo plots, referred to as the Apollo Learning Centre, located in each ward. This initiative has significantly empowered our farmers by providing firsthand information on how to moisturize their soil using regenerative agricultural practices. Additionally, they learn to utilize KichawiKill herbicide to manage Striga weed, commonly known as 'witch weed.' The photos included here depict some of the many demonstration plots in Vihiga South Maragoli Ward, where our host farmers attest to the improved yields they have experience.
