In folk and TCM clinical medicine, #Chinese_herbal_medicine is used to treat snakebite and has good curative effect, but its active ingredients and mechanism are still unclear. A large number of studies have confirmed that most antivenomous Chinese herbs achieve therapeutic purposes by inhibiting the action of PLA2. This study takes phospholipase A2 of Deinagkistrodon acutus (dPLA2) as the research object, and conducts virtual screening and mechanism analysis of effective components from 6 Chinese herbs to inhibit dPLA2 venom. #Molecular_Docking #Molecular_Mechanism

In this review, many medicinal and aromatic plants, natural products, and commercial compounds were screened against SARS-CoV-2. Thrilled to reflect on my recent experience presenting a poster on Phyllanthus niruri at a symposium on "Medicinal Plants, treasure trove for drug discovery: challenges, innovation and sustainability". This opportunity allowed me to explore the remarkable benefits of not only this particular plant but a lot of them and engage in meaningful discussions about its potential and challenges as well as role in traditional and contemporary medicine. During the event, I explored the numerous benefits of this remarkable plant, including: • Kidney Stone Treatment: Effective in preventing and dissolving kidney stones. • Hepatitis B Potential: Emerging research suggests it may help in the management of hepatitis B. • Antioxidant Properties: Rich in antioxidants, it helps combat oxidative stress. • Anti-inflammatory Effects: May reduce inflammation and support overall health. • Digestive Support: Traditionally used to aid digestion and liver function. This experience significantly enhanced my knowledge not only of Phyllanthus niruri but also of broader topics in herbal medicine, sustainable practices, and innovative research methodologies. Engaging with experts and fellow researchers deepened my understanding of the challenges and opportunities within this field. I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with passionate individuals.
