Thanksgiving is a wonderful tradition and an opportunity to reflect on what we are grateful for. A few weeks ago, I learned a way of saying thank you from Frank Gaschler and Ester Gerdts that made a difference. It is a way of saying it by using the 4 steps of nonviolent communication: 1. Observation, 2. Feeling, 3. Need, 4. Request and then tweak it a little. Here are the 4 steps for a powerful recognition and Thank you: 1. Observation: Describe the situation like a camera would describe it. 2. Feelings: What were my feelings in this situation? 3. Importance/Needs: What does that mean to me? Why is that important to me? 4. THANK YOU! This is much more powerful than a plain “Thank you” as the receiver understands and feels what his/her action meant to me. Instead of just saying THANK YOU to a teammate try it this way. Perhaps the example inspires you: 1. Last Friday I saw that you stayed till 8 pm to help Amy solve a customer problem she faced. You did not leave till you had found the solution together... 2. ...I was so relieved and happy. My heart was getting warm... 3. ... it means a lot to me to see that the people who work for me truly live our core values. When we work as a team, we are committed to each other and to our mission helping the customer. We do everything to become better together. And this was exactly what you did. I saw your commitment to finding a solution and, to being there for each other by supporting Amy in this situation. Always knowing that she would do the same. 4. Thank you! I love to hear how you applied it or how you say a powerful THANK YOU.

Thanksgiving appreciation: what if we all reset our humility levels? Canadian Thanksgiving in early October. US Thanksgiving in late November. Autumn has traditionally been a time of harvesting and appreciation leading up to turning the page into a New Year. Who agrees that some commitment to truth and humility could go a long way to set a more reasonable foundation for 2025? If we don’t express it, we will never materialize it. For those with professional client service and relationship responsibilities, the next few weeks is a great time to show appreciation, to seek their aspirations and business plans for 2025. Making your client approach into partnership · Being in service · Humility goes a long way towards clients opening up · Genuine and active inquiry and dialogue · Understanding well before suggesting solution Happy Thanksgiving!

As the year starts to wind down and we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on how quickly time passes and the importance of the connections we make along the way. Life has a way of sneaking past us if we’re not careful. We get caught up in our routines, our to-do lists, and the endless hustle, and before we know it, weeks, months, even years have flown by. It’s a reminder to slow down, to cherish the moments we have, and to ensure we’re not living a life of “what ifs” and “could’ve beens.” Today, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you here on LinkedIn. Whether we’ve connected through shared interests, professional goals, or mutual support, your stories, insights, and encouragement have added so much value to my life. To my connections: thank you for inspiring me, challenging me, and reminding me of the incredible strength of community. This platform isn’t just about careers or accomplishments—it’s about people. People who dream, who persevere, who lift each other up. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I encourage you to take a moment to reach out to someone you’re grateful for, to tell them how much they mean to you. Let’s not let life pass us by without appreciating those who make it meaningful. Here’s to living fully, connecting deeply, and building a life that we can look back on with pride and gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! #Gratitude #Thanksgiving #Connections #LifeLessons #AmorFati

Today, Vanessa and I are hosting Thanksgiving dinner for our family at our home. As I take a moment between the cooking, setting up, and welcoming everyone, I’m reflecting on how much this day mirrors the values I hold dear in life and business: connection, preparation, and gratitude. Hosting isn’t just about the food (though I’m hoping the turkey turns out amazing!). It’s about creating a space where everyone feels welcome, seen, and appreciated—a place where conversations flow, laughter fills the air, and memories are made. It’s a reminder of why I do what I do every day. Whether it’s helping businesses scale with systems that foster growth or holding providers accountable to measurable results, it’s all about creating environments where people—and businesses—can thrive. Thanksgiving is a beautiful reminder to slow down, appreciate the blessings around us, and focus on what truly matters: the people in our lives. As the day unfolds, I’m filled with gratitude for family, friends, and the opportunities to make a positive impact. How are you spending your Thanksgiving? Share your moments below—I’d love to hear them! #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #Connection #FamilyFirst #BusinessGrowth

Sharing Thanks with Loved Ones 🧡🌟 This Thanksgiving, let’s make a point to share our appreciation with the people who enrich our lives. The holiday season is a perfect reminder to slow down, reflect, and make sure our loved ones know how much we value them. Here are some ways to share thanks with those who matter most: Family Tradition of Gratitude 👨👩👧👦: Start a new tradition at the dinner table where everyone takes turns sharing one thing they appreciate about the person sitting next to them. It’s a great way to foster connection and build each other up. Send a Video Message 🎥✨: Can’t be with someone in person? Send them a video message expressing your gratitude. Seeing your face and hearing your voice makes the gesture extra special, especially for friends or family members far away. Cook or Bake Together 🥧: Sharing a meal is one of the most meaningful ways to connect. Whether it’s baking pies, cooking a family recipe, or simply helping with dinner prep, spending quality time in the kitchen creates memories to be thankful for. How are you planning to share thanks with your loved ones this week? Drop your ideas in the comments and let’s inspire one another! 🤗💕 #ThanksgivingThanks #ShareGratitude #FamilyTime #LovedOnes
